Thanks for the video and giving us something both different and useful at the same time.
I have to say my favorite bar is California Grill. The view is amazing and the drinks are not watered down!

Great interview; you are both such nice guys!
I haven’t been to any of the bars but maybe we will hit the California Grill one on our next visit. Thanks for another great video Rick and I hope your daughter had a wonderful birthday.

That was very fun to have the first live guest on Travel with Rick. I only wish I could come down to Disney World enough to need the Owners Locker but if I ever do start coming down more than once a year I would definately be a member of Owners Locker. I don’t think I’ve ever gone to a bar in the resorts althought I’ve enjoyed some very good wine at several of the signature restaurants.

Great video. I like your location shots, hope to see more.
Happy B-Day to your daughter.
Thanks so much for the info on Owners Lockers, I’ve been thinking about using them & your show was a great help.

Interesting video! Like Kris, I wish I could visit the World often enough to take advantage of the service. Maybe someday.
I agree with John about the Territory Lounge. And it’s not just because Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort and Artist Point is my favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff is outstanding.

Another great show..thanks Rick!
I don’t drink often in Disney World, but when I do it’s usually at Disney’s Contemporary Resort bar. I believe it’s called The Outer Rim. It’s nice because you can order appetizers from the nearby restaurant.

We don’t drink, so we don’t have a favorite bar….but if we did it might be the one in the Contemporary Hotel. Have seen that one many times and it looks cute. Thanks, Rick.

Loved watching you two at the Treehouse Villas. I too wish that we went down to Disney more often. Our favorite bar would be Crockett’s Tavern at Fort Wilderness. We used to go there years ago & pump the bartender for Disney information. Can’t help it–we’re Disney geeks!

Enjoyed the video Rick, Owner’s Locker is a great idea, it’s a wonder it wasn’t around long ago. I would use it if we spent more time at the resorts. Thanks!

Those Owner’s Lockers sound like a great idea. I don’t get to go to WDW that often but I have a friend who was craving such a service a couple years ago.
It’sa also good to see the TreeHouse Vilas againh. My ver6y first visit to WDW my famuily and I stayed at one of the Fairway Villas right near the treehouses. It’s good to see that they now have boat service.
The only “bars” I’ve been to in WDW are the Adventurers Club and Comedy Warehouse if they qualify. I really miss those two.

I can not wait to see your video on the Treehouse Resort.
As mentioned in a few previous comments, my favorite Bar is the English Pub in England at Epcot. My last visit we had the coolest bar tender.
Thanks Rick.

Great video! I would have loved this when I was visiting WDW 6-8 times a year! Unfortunately, I’m down to once every 2 years right now, but I have faith that someday I’ll get that average back up!
My favorite bar would be the Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian. Great Appetizers and great beverages!

Awesome setting for this week’s show! Thanks John and Rick, great information, The Owner’s Locker is sweet, great for frequent Disney travelers. Favorite bar is California Grill, great sushi and views. Thanks again!

Great show, Rick! John’s such a great guy and one of my favorite things at Walt Disney World now is to try to find some time to hang out with him.
The service is wonderful, and I don’t know how I could live without my Owner’s Locker now. When traveling on my solo trips, I travel with a carry-on and a laptop case and I only see the baggage claim at the airport when traveling with my wife and son.
By the way, John didn’t mention it in the video, but they deliver to pretty much every resort in the area. If you’re staying off-property, you can still use your locker. In fact, my original delivery of my locker was to the Royal Plaza.
Oh, I suppose I should stop gushing about John and Owner’s Locker and just answer the question, huh? Um, I don’t drink much, so I don’t spend much time in the lounges, but I like the Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian and the Territory Lounge at the Wilderness Lodge.
Thanks again for a great show.

Thanks for the interesting video. Always wondered about Owner’s Locker and this answered my questions. Hopefully someday I will be able to visit often enough to be able to use their services.
Since I usually travel with my granddaughter I don’t get to visit the lounges very often. Although, the Wave at the Contemporary has a breakfast cocktail that I would really like to try.

That was a great interview Rick. It was a nice change from the usual format. The boats going back and forth were kind of noisy. Did they bother your stay the Tree House?
Alcohol isn’t a part of my life. I have never been in a bar. When I am at WDW I always enjoy the themed restaurants and snack shops.

Hi Rick I enjoyed this weeks video. I heard you mention that you are going to do some resorts; that would be great. The lockers would be a great help if you go often. This way you don’t have to lug all your stuff when you visit. As for my favorite bar we are not bar people. I like social drink or two but don’t like to go to bars.

This week’s video was very interesting. I especially liked the setting. It had a live feeling to it. I will be looking into Owner’s Lockers for our next trip. I don’t have a favorite bar since drinking is not a big part of our vacations but I do agree that the lounge in the Wilderness Lodge is very nice. We find that alcohol on our vacations is a spur of the moment thing so we enjoy just stopping at a pavilion and picking up something when the moment hits us. We have gotten the margaritas at the Mexican pavilion and enjoyed them very much.
Happy B-day to your daughter and looking forward to the next installment.

This is a great concept (the lockers). If you could see how I pack up the minivan, I could use a couple of these things!! Gotta say, the two of you look like you could really have a blast together down there!!
Favorite bar….hmmmm….seeing how I have never frequented the bars in WDW, I am going to say my favorite bar in Disney World is the SHOWER bar that hangs in the bathroom of the cabins at Fort Wilderness! Best place in the world!!

Great Video as usual! Owner’s Lockers are an awesome idea – right now, I don’t visit often enough to use them, but as my visits increase – I will definetely use them. Also, thanks for all the great ideas on how others use them – I had wondered what limitations there were……and now I “NONE” the uses are only limited by your imagination.
Happy Birthday to your daughter – great place to celebrate!
We haven’t visited a lot of bars in the hotels usually just the pavillions in EPCOT, but we did visit a couple around the pool areas this past trip. We really enjoyed the Tiki Hut @ Polynesian, but I was disappointed that they don’t have specialty drinks related to each specific hotel.

I liked the interview. It was very informative. It was nice to be able to see what the boxes looked like. I really haven’t spent much time in a bar because we use all our time in the parks when we are down at Disney. So I can’t give you a favorite.

The crown and rose at Epcot I love a good English or Irish pub so that and Ragland would be my first thoughts but I also like good wine so the French pavilion in Epcot is also in the running.

Great, relaxed interview. I am a Member of OL, yet I always love to hear about their business. I had the opportunity to meet John and he is so down-to-earth. Great guy.
One of the things I liked about the interview is that there was a box there. When I first joined up, I saw the measurements, but it doesn’t do it justice when you can actually SEE it, and see what Rick was putting in it.
My favorite bar? I haven’t been to many…but I would have to say the one at AKL. It’s set kinda different….all sorts of stairs, etc. And you can look over the resort and restaurant. It wasn’t wild. I could actually have a drink there and have my son sitting there sipping a coke, and it NOT feel as though I had my son in an in appropriate place.
