That looked fantastic!! Your so right Rick, There is nothing better than eating in Disney at a signature restaurant with family and friends! My bride, two sisters and brothers-in-law enjoyed lots of great signature restaurants during the Marathon Weekend! I love California grill so much but I fell in love with Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, so good!Love the Disney restaurant reviews! We are bringing my oldest boy child to Disney next weekend for his surprise birthday and am going to try Yachtsman’s Steakhouse for his birthday dinner, he loves steak! We have stayed at The Wilderness Lodge and I could kick myself for not eating at The Artist Point, that won’t happen again, I’ve gotta try it! Y’all be good and keep those smiles on!

Kevin, you are so right…Jiko is amazing! The filet with mac & cheese (make sure to ask for it) and the short ribs are phenomenal dishes. I haven’t been to Yachtsman in years. Make sure to let me know how your meal is. I think I may have to add that for an upcoming trip.
Prior to this visit, our last visit to Artist Point was 2 1/2 years ago and the experience was so so. This blew it out of the water! The new menu is amazing…a must do!

When I go to WDW I get the Deluxe Dining so I can eat at Signature restaurants. It’s hard to pick just one. They all treat you so well. My last trip Flying Fish treated me the best. I sat at the kitchen bar and during my meal the Grill Master asked me how my steak was. It was so good that I ate half so I could have a snack on the flight home. My next trip is in 2013 and I’m trying to plan out my dining plans now. I did love Artist Point on my trip in 2010. I have it on my list for my next.

All you just have to do is ask if you can be beated there. I travel solo so I seat at alot of counters.

Since I’m more of a commando Disney park fan I rarely go to table service resturants, so I can’t say what a favorite would be. I just prefer to be on rides and attractions in my limited time in WDW. If I were able to go more often, maybe that would change.

I’m watching this at 5:00am and now I am hungry for everything you guys ate LOL. We have only eaten at a few Disney Restaurants so I must wait until we have tried a few more before we can declare a favorite. Thanks for sharing, now I’m gonna go find something to eat……

Hey Rick.
All of the food looked awsome. Not sure if I heard on smoked carrots. We never ate at a singature restraunt. Too expensive. So we do have a favorite. But my all time favorite restraunt in the Rainforest Cafe.

Wow Rick, Another restaurant to add to my list. My favorite signature restaurant–I’m not sure what is a signature restaurant. But I will tell you of three restaurants that I really liked.
Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian Resort, the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater at Hollywood Studios, and Jiko’s at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. At Jiko’s I ordered a scallops dish. I asked the waiter if it was spicy. He said it was just spicy enough to make you want to eat more. He was right. It was very tasty and flavorful. But because I have such a tender stomach I was sick all of the next day.
See you next week.

Hi Rick, Just found your site and wanted to say a big THANK YOU. I love it. I am missing WDW very much so it’s great to be able to watch all your wonderful videos. You are ‘keeping the Disney magic alive’ for those of us who can’t visit regularly. Best Wishes. Lindsay

Artist Point is my wife’s favorite restaurant. Not just her favorite restaurant in Walt Disney World….but her favorite restaurant period! The service is incredible, the food is always tremendous, and the ambiance is so cool. I always get the wine flight with my meal and really marvel at some of the awesome wines that are coming out of the Pacific Northwest these days. Great job on your review of this true Walt Disney World gem!
