Hi Rick and Leslie,
It’s great that you invited Leslie to share her experience and comments on the various foods and beers you tried. Sorry you weren’t thrilled with the Polish food…I’m part Polish so I love this food!
Sarah it is the 16th Food and Wine Festival and that’s hard to believe and Rick I’m sure you mentioned somewhere how many years you have attented this festival so I will guess that you have been to every one!
Have a super great day !

Hi Cathy!
Don’t get me wrong, It wasn’t that we didn’t like the things from Poland, I guess I’m saying there were other things we liked better. I thought the Pierogi’s and stuffed cabbage were good.
Thanks for leaving your comments!

I’ll pick up on the send part of the question. Rick said it is the thrird year he has been cobering the Food and Wine Festival.
It’s always nice to see Leslie in an episode. You two are cute together. Hope that wrist is okay. No one mentioned the brace.
I would SO be there if I lived closer to WDW, but I have to make due with videos for now. I don’t know if I could spend a whole day eating and drinking. I’m a ride fan, and I don’t think the two things mix well. But it does look like a great way to try something new at a reasonable price.
But no way am I eating snails. 🙂
I wish we could have hear a little bit of the band, but maybe another time?

Hey Peggy, Thanks for leaving your comments!
Leslie wrist is okay, she has some inflammation in the tendons in her wrist, (she says she types too much at Kingdom Magic Vacations) but a couple of weeks of the brace and the cortisone should have her back in good shape!
I understand about being a ride fan, I am too! That’s what’s great about Food & Wine, you can enjoy the parks, rides etc and still take a little time to stroll around Epcot, maybe even around meal time 😉
I did put a video of Sister Hazel on my Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/rickhoward01 and have some video I’m going to share from Night Ranger there too, I love them!

Hey Rick
I would love to be at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. But we can afford it . We are lucky to visit Disney 1 evey 2 years. All of the food looks good. But there is no way I will eat snails. Answering the questions… Epcot has been doing the Festival for 16 years, and Travel with Rick has been visiting for 3 years.

Hey Rick, Leslie, and Sarah,
Thanks for the great video. I really enjoy watching your videos. They are the next best thing to actually being able to visit Disney World. This is the 16th year for the Food and Wine Festival and it is the 3rd year that Travel With Rick has shown us videos of the festival.
See you next week.
Bob
P.S. Rick, you really should include your wife Leslie in more of your videos.

Hey Bob! Thanks for leaving your comments, exactly right on the questions, 16 and we’ve covering for 3 on TwR, been longer though 😉
I’d love to have Leslie out more, we have two teens at this point, so we don’t get to travel together as much as I’d like, hopefully that will shift some in the coming years!

Ok,now, I’m really hungry!! Fantastic episode! Rick and Leslie, you’re so much fun on camera together. I feel like I just spent the last half hour zipping through EPCOT! Camera work is excellent. I could taste everything, because of your descriptions and feedback. I can’t wait till the next episode, as usual.
What a pleasure to see you both.

16 and 3. Great fun. Did Leslie and Sarah finish all their beers? Leslie cannot hide if she doesn’t like something, her facial expressions give it all away, luv it. I like this years experiences at the F&WF all the episodes have been really entertaining. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Penny!
Yes, they finished all the beers, well I think Park Hopper John may have helped a little!
Yes, alas Leslie has no trouble sharing her true feelings about anything, I’m just glad she likes me 😉 !
We had a blast bringing Food & Wine here this year, and we’ve still got a couple more episodes to go!

I noticed the same thing Penny did. I started watching Leslie and her expressions. Another awesome video tour of F&W and your supporting cast did a great job also. Question: Do they have recipes available for the items in each booth?

Hey Scott,
Yes, Leslie’s face tells the true story of how she feels about everything 😉
There are recipes available on the Disney mobile site. They have QR codes on receipts and other places that if you scan with your smart phone will take you there for a wealth of info. You can also find some here: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/special-events/epcot-international-food-and-wine-festival/
There is also a festival cook book that is available for purchase at the festival stores, not all the recipes are available there as some items were added after the book went to print.
Great hearing from you!
