My favorite attraction song is either Journey Into Imagination, Test Track or Splash Mountain. If forced to choose one of the three, I’d go with Splash Mountain.

  2. Most of my favorite songs are no longer playing in their attractions – Tomorrow’s Child from Spaceship Earth, Listen to the Land…but I do still love Golden Dream from the American Adventure – makes me tear up (but not as bad as “Two Brothers” from the same attraction. 😛 Still, my all-time favorite has to be the original version of “One Little Spark” from Journey into Imagination. I still have it memorized! 🙂

    Great video guys!

  3. Penny Serrato says:

Food looked good but I’m not much on desserts either so all I could think was it looked really sweet… Ok I don’t remember hearing the music on the attractions specifically except It’s a Small World and you know what happens when you hear it. Please don’t make me it will fry my brain. ( By the way Rick was that braces I saw?) Thanks as always.

  4. Oh man…I forgot how good that fish was. We need to go back there soon!

Penny…yep…Rick is getting his braces off next month I believe. He is super stoked about it too.

Fave attraction song is the old Universe of Energy Song which has since been replaced. Ah…memories…

  5. Linda Miller says:

The food looked delicious! Especially the chocolate hazelnut dessert!!

I think my favorite attraction song is the Carousel of Progress (It’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow–now I’ll be singing it all evening!!) followed closely by the Splash Mountain music. There are so many catchy tunes. My granddaughter likes “One Little Spark” from Journey Into Imagination with Figment the best.

Thanks for the great video, Rick and Amanda!!

Hey Rick , without a seconds thought, my favorite attraction song is the ORIGINAL version of “Great Big Beautiful Tommorow” from the original Carousel of Progress attraction. This Sherman Bros. classic was also one of Walt Disney’s personal favorites. I have heard the updated version and its just not the same. Just a small tip , Would love to see you guys try to use a small table top tripod in your video shoots. bringing your camera up maybe 6 to 12″s would give us a nice strait on view of you and guest instead of always looks up your noses from a table top. Would also love to see a show about the top 10 signiture food items from WDW parks or Magic Kingdom. Would love to compare them to what we have here at Disneyland.

  7. Marc Acosta says:

My favorite theme park attraction theme song is Grim Grinning Ghosts at the Haunted Mansion!

  8. Linda Maxey/TINK says:

Great video you two–!!!! WE love the Grand Floridian Cafe,,try to get a meal in there each trip–usually its breakfast–yumyum!!!!!

Favorite song is one no longer used-it was the one in the Carousel Of Progress: The Best Time Of Your Life—
NOW IS THE TIME NOW IS THE BEST TIME,,,NOW IS THE BEST TIME OF YOUR Life—-oh great will be humming that alllllll night now!!!

    Thanks for the review!!!!

  9. Eileen Monaghan says:

Hey Rick – Love the show. I’m enjoying the restaurant reviews. Keep up the great work.

My favorite attraction song is tied between Grim Grinnin Ghosts & Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. And I must admit to being one of those crazy folks who actually LIKES It’s a Small World, lol.
As far as now defunct songs – Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit from Kitchen Kaberet was a classic.

  10. Saron says:

I ate there on my last trip. The food is YUMMY!
My favorite is Carousel Of Progress.

  11. Stacey says:

We had breakfast there the last time we went and had a FABULOUS meal of lobster eggs benedict! It was amazing. Our room was right across the courtyard and this is one of our new favorite places to eat.

As for a song? Hmmmm…Honestly, they all make me smile but I really enjoy just jamming along to Aerosmith on the RnR. Not Disney-ish, I know, but it got me through those first scary times I went on the ride!

  12. gracie n says:

I really enjoy the music/song from “It’s a small world”. After that attraction, I am singing that song the rest of the day. Thanks!

  13. David H. says:

Food at Grand Floridian looks great! Have to stay there sometime! My favorite music is the music that is played during the Soarin ride at Epcot. I love the ride but the music makes it a perfect attraction!

  14. Scott Schultz says:

    Great video Rick and Amanda!
Will defintely have to try the Grand Floridian on one of our upcoming Disney vacations.
I could almost smell that talapia from here. My wife would Love that Cobb salad I’m sure. Unfortunately, my favorite Disney attraction music is no longer played. 🙁 It was the song Listen to The Land that was played in the Land Pavillion in Epcot’s Future World. I can still hear it in my head when I’m on the boat ride in the attraction….just make believe…you’re a tiny little seed…..

  15. John Broadwater says:

Always love it when you show the different places to eat. It gives me new ideas of places to go to on the next trip. Our favorite disney music is Its a small world. It”s been a favorite ever since the 1964 world fair when we hear it as childern for the first time. Thank you for another great show.

  16. pati m says:

My personal favorite is Carousel of Progress. Although it seems no matter what attraction I visit, I end up singing the song! Thanks, Rick!

  17. Phil W. says:

The food looked spectacular, would love to try the Lobster Burger.
Songs: Gotta Have Pirates Life, Grim Grinn’n Ghost, Zippy Do Da (Splash Mt.) and not really Disney but the Areosmith Rock’n Roller Coaster sound track.

  18. so many good theme park ride songs out there…

it’s one of my favs and I have to say it….ITS A SMALL WORLD!!!! 8(:-D

  19. Nicklas Yeager says:

    Hi Rick,

My number 1 favorite theme ride song is “How do you do” from Splash Mountain. That song really remines me of Disney when I listen to it on my CD.

  20. Peggy Hickey says:

I love all the music from the rides, but if I have to choose I guess I’d pick “A Pirates Life for me”, followed closely by “Grim, Grinning Ghosts.”
    Aren’t you glad I didn’t pick “It’s a small world after all…it’s a world of laughter a world of tears…, it’s a world of hopes and a world of fears…”
he he he. Are you singing it now?

  21. Carrie Freistuhler says:

I really like the restaurant reviews. Especially this one since we’ve never been there and it is on my must-do list for the next time we go.
Amanda – really like your shirt!
Rick – congrats on the braces!
My favorite ride song is Pirates. I am smiling now just thinking about it! Thanks for the smile today.

  22. Iris says:

Loved this installment. We usually have breakfast at the G.F. Cafe’ because I loooove Eggs Benedict and you do know that at the Grand Floridian Cafe, you can get Lobster Eggs Benedict, don’t you?

At this moment my favorite Disney ride song is the melody for Soarin’. It is also my ring tone

  23. cathy mullen says:

    Hi Rick and Amanda,
The GF Cafe is one of my favorite places for breakfast! I love the atmosphere there and the rose gardens are so beautiful.
My favorite song would be “Be My Guest” from the Beauty and the Beast show at the Disney Studios.
    Happy Easter everyone!

  24. Thelma Huss says:

    Must try that fish.
Favorite song Blood on the Saddle by big Al and oh yes, the Great Big Beautiful World sings in your mind for days.

  25. Debbie Bolen says:

Food looked incredible! Have never tried the Cafe’, maybe next trip. I must say, I was surprised at the prices – quite reasonable.

I think my favorite song is at the Pirates of the Caribbean. I find myself singing it most of the day!

I think I agree with TikiTommy above – a small tripod would put the camera on your level instead of looking up noses – LOL.
Keep up the great work – love the videos. Would like to see some more rides and shows….especially Mulch, Sweat & Shears.

  26. Jeanne Cundiff says:

    Hi Amanda & Rick!
It’s nice to see you two making a video together again. The GF Cafe looks terrific and I will try to hit it on our next trip. I know I am one of a few, but I love the music in the Tiki Room. “The birds sing words and the flowers croon…” Just makes me happy to think about it.
Thanks for showing us yummy food!

  27. Doreen says:

Hi Rick & Amanda. Looks like a great meal at GF Cafe. I have yet to try it there but hope to in the near future.

My favorite song has to be from Splash Mountain. I love that ride & just hearing that music makes me smile!!

  28. Wayne Corum says:

We ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe on our last visit. The food was good. The view of the courtyard is nice. I like the Toy Story music at Toy Story Mania in Disney Studios.

    Enjoy your videos,
    Wayne Corum

Thanks Amanda, I’m addicted to your website as well, job well done! I just love attraction music, my favorites are Grim Grinning Ghosts, Splash Mountain and Soarin’, now that will make you smile, I just love it! Keep up the great work Rick, I hope to shake your hand on day in the park as well!

  30. Robert Nordmark says:

Hey Rick and Amanda, The food looked great. I can’t wait to try it out. My favorite theme park attraction ride song is from Pirates of the Caribbean–Yo Ho (A pirates life for me). It is a catchy tune. I just checked out the lyrics–maybe I will find another favorite song.

Rick–I always love your videos. I look forward to watching you every week. Amanda–I always enjoy seeing you in one of Rick’s videos.

  31. Mayra Lopez says:

    The food looks delicious!!!

My favorite attraction songs are “How do you do” from Splash Mountain and “It’s a small world”.

  32. Great episode. Both dishes(plus the sandwich) looked delicious. And the dessers looked yoummy and beautiful.

Favorite music? While “laughin’ place” and “There’s a great big beautiful Tomorrow” jump right to mind, “Yo ho a pirate life” has to edge them out beacuse of the additional opportunity to enjoy it through the Pirates movies.

Gotta say I love all the theming music, from Stich’s them to the music at the International Gateway and Soarin’. So much that I play it over my computer all the time while I work.
    Thanks again.

  33. Kate Puckett says:

I was thinking of trying the cafe next trip, thanks for helping me make my decision! It looks delicious.

My favorite attraction song has to be the “Laughin Place” song, or whatever its called from Splash Mountain. Makes me happy every time!

  34. Jeff Barkee says:

Keep doing the restaurant reviews Rick. Love it! Gonna give the Grand Floridian Cafe a try thanks to you.
Add another to the Splash Mountain music bandwagon. You get so many different songs in one attraction.

  35. Kris Koelzer says:

Thanks for the review of the Grand Floridian Cafe. I think my daughter and I will have to try there on our next visit.
My favorite theme park ride music is Soarin

  36. e.g. says:

Great Big beautiful Tomorrow from CoP. I drive my kids nuts singing this!!!
    Loved the review.

Great show Rick and Amanda. I’ve eaten at the cafe and really enjoyed it. This video brought back some great memories.

My favorite tune would be hard to nail down, but Golden Dream from American Adventure or the music from Soarin’ would have to be right there at the top. There are so many great songs to choose from.

Have a great week and thanks for another wonderful episode.

    Eric aka trumpeteer

  40. disneygramma says:

Favorite Song on a Disney attraction: Grim Grinning Ghosts AND Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life For Me….equally important to me!

  41. Sue M. says:

Hi Rick and Amamda! I ate at GF Cafe for the first time last Jan. for dinner and loved it! Great meal. We had steaks. Great food and service. I think it’s a hidden treasure, eclipsed by the other high profile restaurants at GF, so people don’t really know about it. So glad we tried it. I will be going back!
I don’t know if I can pick just one fav. attraction! But I’ll try- Everest and Rock n Rollercoaster. O.K. I know that’s 2, lol.
