First to leave a comment, SWEET! That video just go me pumped up for my visit to Castaway Cay in November, I wish we were making two stops there! I’m most looking forward to spending time with my family playing and relaxing. We are on the list to rent one of the new family cabanas, really hoping that works out. Thanks so much Rick, keep that smile on your face!

That was nice. I haven’t been on a Disney Cruise yet but hope to next year. I do have a question. Do the employees who work at Castaway Cay live on the island? Thanks for the video and I look forward to seeing more of you cruise

Great video Rick! I’ve not seen any video footage of Castaway Cay so this was something I was really looking forward to and I was not dissapointed. I’ve never been a “Cruise vacation” kind of guy, but having a Love for all things Disney, I may have to do a Disney Cruise some time in the future just to say I’ve experianced one. Thanks again for another great video!

I really enjoyed the video Rick. Castaway Cay looks like my kind of place. I think I would need more than a day to explore it and enjoy it. I guess I had better book two cruises. I think I will have more than one favorite spot when I go to Castaway Cay–Serenity Bay, Pelican Plunge, and a bike ride around the island all sound pretty fun.

Thanks again for your videos Rick. I look forward to seeing them every week.

The island is so beautiful and there is some much to do I do not have a favorite place but I would like to share a wonderful Disney moment with you.
I am raising 2 little mermaids in my house and if there is water anywhere around my 2 girls are there. My oldest, at that time she was 5, saw all the people with snorkeling equipment and she wanted to try her hand at snorkeling for the first time. So, we got our equipment and off to the water we went. As with anything water related she took to snorkeling like a fish takes to water (sorry had to say it). We were having a blast. There was tons of fish and sting rays. Then we started to see the special treasures on the ocean floor. My daughter was ecstatic pointing out all the treasures and ship parts, but now comes the moment that only Disney can create. She caught a glimpse of a very familiar silhouette off in the distance and she was off like a shot to verify her find. The look on her face when she saw Captain Mickey at his ship’s wheel was priceless and then some. After about a dozen dives down to get a closer look at the sunken Captain all she wanted to do was get back to shore to tell momma, nana, and papa what she had found.
This video has brought back some of my most fondist family vacation memories, Thanks Rick.

Loved seeing Castaway Cay. I don’t see a Disney cruise in my future, but if I ever make it to Castaway – I think most of the day would be spend at Serenity Bay, relaxing! Looks awesome – sitting in a lounge chair in the water, enjoying an adult beverage and soaking up some rays! Sounds like my kind of vacation.
