Great video…looking forward to seeing it this fall when we go. My favorite parade is the Christmas Parade at the Magic Kingdom, but I love them all!!

  2. Scott Schultz says:

Great video Rick! I LOVE the Main Street Electrical Parade! I’m so glad to see it back again. I have to agree with my wife Wendy. (see comment above) My favorite parade is The Christmas parade during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We always watch the 2nd parade at around 11:00PM.The park is half empty and there are so many great viewing areas without the crowds. Scºoºtt

  3. Jeff Barkee says:

    Nice footage.

And my favorite? You just filmed it.

Whether in the Magic Kingdom, Disneyland or California Adventure, the Electrical Parade and that magical music is the best!

  4. Nicklas Yeager says:

    Hey Rick
I love colored lights. At Christmas, I am the decorater. This parade was really cool. The lights were colorful and beautiful. I have heard of this parade, before. I have heard the music, but not the parade itself. I think the music on the parade is really tuneful. I haven’t seen any of the parades in the parks, yet. The Electrical Water Pageant is so for my favorite.

  5. Mary Callahan says:

It was though I was standing right there at my favorite parade! Tha was the best view I’ve ever had of that parade, and I thank you so much for sharing that with us all! You’re unbelievable, Rick! I’m going to watch it over and over.!!
Mary (I can’t wait for next week’s travelwithrick!!!)

  6. Linda Miller says:

Thanks, Rick! The Electrical Parade is one of my favorites! My all-time favorit, though, is the Boo Too You Halloween Parade. (Now I’ll have “Boo To You” stuck in my head all night!)

Can’t wait to see what you will be sharing with us next week!

Hey Rick, What a great parade. I loved watching it! My favorite parade is “Boo To You” at MNSSHP during the Halloween season.

Rick, thanks for posting these vidoes each week. They always give me something to hope for and to look forward to. I really appreciate what you do for me by posting the videos each week.

    See you next week,

  8. Jeanne Cundiff says:

Great video Rick! Yep! This is my favorite parade with the Boo to You as a close second place. I find it amazing how Disney changes the music so smoothly from one section of the parade to the next. When you are sitting there you really don’t hear the section before or after what is in front of you and then the music changes without a seam. I also love how the lights within the dresses look like they swirl. Just amazing!
Thanks for filming this fantastic parade for us!

  9. tammy says:

This is definately my favorite parade. thanks

  10. Debbie Bolen says:

Thanks for the great video! I haven’t been able to see any parades in a long time, but I did see the Spectromagic (I think that is the one it was) in 1998 with my 3 grand-daughters sitting between my legs on the ground. They were 3, 4 & 5 at the time and Mary Poppins came up and shook their hands – it was awesome!

Thanks for bringing Disney each week!

  11. John Broadwater says:

the jungle parade is my favorite. thanks for a great show.

  12. Kevin Nelson says:

Awesome Rick, great footage! I haven’t seen The Main Street Electrical parade before, now it’s on my must do list! My favorite parade is the Boo to You parade at the MNSSHP! The music is great and that Headless Horseman gets me every time, I would just love to watch him ride all night! Take care my friend, keep smilin’!

  13. Peggy Hickey says:

It was so good to see this parade again. My family got “trapped” by it on our first trip and they all wanted to eat, so they didn’t like the parade. But I didn’t care. I loved it. I love the way each float has it’s own music that seemlessly fits into the Baroque Hoedown theme. Great Parade.
I also love the Halloween parade that started with the Headless Horsman. It appears to have changed since I last saw it. 🙁
I’m wondering what it was behind you, Rick, that everyone was snapping pictures of. I guess I’ll have to check out the blog for possible insight on that. 🙂

  14. Joanne S. says:

I really enjoy all the parades at Disney. I watch them all every time we go but, the parade I really loved is no longer in production. It is the nighttime parade that went around the world showcase. I believe it was called Tapestry of Nations. The parade in Animal Kingdom reminds me of it with the drummers and stilt walkers. At the time it was a very unique parade to bad it was short lived.

Thanks again for a terrific video and my weekly dose of Disney.

    Hey Rick
I know I already commented. I look up the Main Street Electrical Parade on Disney by the Numbers, and I learned that 500,000 lights are used in the parade.
