my name is john carlosI am a Brazilian chef I am 48 years old and love watching your videos,
about the Brazilian dishes presented I would say that avocado with cilantro in this way is not a typical dish of Brazil, looks more like something Colombian, anyway Thanks for sharing all your adventures.

    Hey Rick, Bob, and Mary,
That was a great critique of the pork belly and scallop. I have never had pork belly. Is it literally what the name says or is it meat that is cooked in pork belly lining. I will have to give it a try sometime. What about dessert in Brazil?

    See you tomorrow.

Hi, Bob. It is what the name says it is. A cut of meat similar to thick bacon. It is NOT cooked in a belly’s lining. Brazil didn’t have a dessert.

Great shows, would love to be there. I used to sell Xingu Black lager for a small distributor (worked as a Craft Beer and Wine Rep. for about 5 years) . It is a Brazilian version of a German Schwarzbier contrary as usual people assume it will be heavy because of the color it is very light bodied and not even 5% abv. It will have a malty chocolate sweetness and mild hop to balance it. I love Food and Wine and my girls (8 & 11) and I love WDW (we used to go every couple months) too but unfortunately economics and being a single Dad have forced us to give up our annual passes for now but my goal is to get us back ASAP. Would love to meet you Leslie and some of your crew some day.
