I absolutely loved this coaster! It kind of reminds me of a combination of Expedition Everest, Big Thunder, with the old Space Mountain cars, then a tad of Splash Mountain!
Favorite Disney moment……….hmmmm….I have different favorite memories at different stages in my life. My most recent favorite was from our trip to Disney World in Sept. of 2007. My husband, 3 kids…all teens…and I were spending a night in the Contemporary, Magic Kingdom view room. We were all sitting out on the balcony, waiting for Wishes to start. We were laughing and just enjoying each other’s company, enjoying the spectular fireworks. It touched this mom’s heart to see the 3 ‘not so little’ kids actually LIKING each other!! Disney Magic at it’s finest!

When one of the street players picked out my video camera to clown around for. Have some fabulous shots….real close ups.

Favorite Disney moment:
My wife and I had spent a week at World Disney World. The whole week my wife was trying to get her picture taken with Mickey Mouse but unfortunately the lines were always too long. On the last day of vacation we decided to go to the Magc Kingdom. We had never ridden on the River Boat so we went on board. It was the first launch of the day and we were practically the only ones on the boat. We decided to go to the top deck for a better view. When we got to the top of the stairs we looked around and there he stood…Mickey Mouse! We got to do the whole boat trip with Mickey all to ourselves. We got some great pictures and video. The smile on my wifes face was priceless! I will never forget that moment.

In the year of June 2008 in Disney World, I believe my favorite Disney moment was at the Magic Kingdom sitting there in Fantasyland right near the carousel and the Dumbo ride watching my 6 year old daughter’s face light up as the fireworks blasted off around us that night. It was a dream come true for me and my family as this was our first year to go there with my wife and my child. My eyes are tearing up just thinking back on this wonderful moment. My favorite Disney moment would have to be the very first time we brought our daughter to Walt Disney World in Florida. She was 4 at the time, it was November 2003. My mom and dad we traveling along with my husband, our daughter and myself. The first day we got there we went straight to Magic Kingdom. And as we walked through the gate our daughter turned to me and said “Thank-you mommy, I’ve been waiting for this my whole life!” My mom has recently passed away, so this whole trip has become even more memorialbe.

I can’t wait to ride the Matterhorn in 2010….now that I have overcome my fear of fast rides! Colleen is right – it is a combination of all my favorites.
I have been sitting here thinking of my favorite Disney moment and with all the trips I have made, with my kids, with my grandkids, with my ex’s :~(, my absolute favorite has to be this past November when my new husband and I went for the 1st time together – his 1st without kids along. He became a “Donald-Fanatic” all week. He even stood in line to see Donald – the pictures were incredible. Toward the end of the week – I had been reminding him I wanted to get to Magic Kingdom to see Mickey’s PhillaMagic. This wasn’t on Hubby’s list of things to do, but he went nonetheless…….The look on his face when it started and he saw Donald was absolutely priceless – I saw the little boy come out in him and he laughed so hard he cried – he is still talking about it! And he thought it was just another-show I wanted to see. Since then he has realized there are all kinds of “special-moments” in WDW and it makes it all the more special when the kid comes out in you and you share it with your best friend.

I just found this site from a post on Passporter! Thanks for the video of the Materhorn. Looks like they’ve got some new cars since I was last in DL in the 70’s! Now we go to WDW.
My fav. Disney moment? So many, but getting a dream pass for MK was one! And getting an extra Searaycer for free to chase my teenaged daughters around Bay Lake was another.

I just got to watch this episode and I am glad I did. We have been to Disneyland once and i did not get to ride Matterhorn.
I have many favorite Disney moments but I have to say, one stands out. The 1st time we took our daughters, my 3rd daughter was 3 years old and i had been lectured on how she would not appreciate the trip since she was so young. We were riding the monorail to Magic Kingdom one morning and she jumped in my lap and wrapped her little arms around my lap and told me she was having the best time of her WHOLE life. I still get misty thinking of the huge smile on her face. That moments was priceless!
Thanks for the videos. We really enjoy them.
