Thanks for bringing us the Lion King show from the parks, I’m jealous! We have not seen the Lion King and have missed some great talents, wow are they great. Need to make time for the show next time. As for a favorite, it’s gonna be Lion King.

Thanks for the great video! We have not been to the Lion King yet and it was great to see what we have been missing. We will definitely make time to see it on our next visit.

No favorite at this point–I have enjoyed all of the ones I have seen.

Thank you SO much for showing the Lion King Festival! It is awesome and a must see for everyone. I haven’t see it for awhile – so it was a special treat this morning.

My favorite show of all time is Tarzan, which is no longer there – 2nd runner up is the Lion King……There are several shows now that I haven’t seen, so next trip will be catching up on all of them.

I loved the show from WDW – defintely do that again……really adds to the show. Lighting was a little dark to see you, but it was cool just the same. And having Spaceship Earth behind you was incredible

Keep up the good work – I love it!

Rick, Thanks for the video. I found myself dancing at my office as the music played. Lion King is one of my top favorite shows however my favorite would have to be the Finding Nemo show. As far as old shows loved the old Lion king puppet show that used to be in Fantasy land.

Who am I kidding anything Disney is great.

Thanks again for keeping the magic alive.

The performers are outstanding. Disney attracts the best people.
My favorite can’t miss place was the old Tiki Room, now it is Country Bear Jamboree.

Hey were you at WDW?!!! LOL I loved the video lot’s of fun. Since we did not get to see any shows on our last (first) trip to WDW I don’t have a favorite. Our next trip in Dec we have a list of the shows we are planning on seeing, this is on the list for sure…Thanks again

  9. Adding that show to my must-do list! As to your question, I don’t remember many shows back in 1992 but I did enjoy the Blues Brothers at the then MGM Studios.

Hey Rick – loved it! Yes, you were really brightly backlit so I could barely see your face, but other than that I would HIGHLY encourage you to do your show from different places at the WDW each week. Not just the parks, but highlight some of the resorts people may not have seen. Poolside at Pop Century, under the giant Mickey Phone? That sort of thing 😉

Will WDW let you shoot something like your show inside the park? I think it’d be fun to see you do a show near the front of the queue at The Haunted Mansion, near the pet cemetery and the mausoleum 😉

Anyway, my favorite show of all time is Fantasmic but it’s almost in a category by itself so right now my favorite is likely Finding Nemo: The Musical – I just bought and downloaded the soundtrack from the Amazon. Festival of the Lion King is a very, very close second…

My favorite is Beauty and the Beast at Disney Hollywood Studios. But I also really liked Tarzan…but that’s not there anymore at the Animal Kingdom. 🙁

Rick another awesome video. I love that you were at the Boardwalk filming! How cool is that to see the Epcot Spaceship Earth right behind you. Lion King is a fantastic show, the monkeys are my favorite. My favorite show right now is Finding Nemo at AK, but Beauty and the Beast at HS is a close second. I think it would be great to film in different spots, almost like where’s waldo.

    Thanks again!

I loved the broadcast live from Walt Disney World. It was neat seeing the view of Spaceship Earth from your room. We haven’t seen many shows at Walt Disney World yet so I don’t really have a favorite. We saw the Tarzan Show before it was replaced but I think that might have been the only one. We plan to see The Festival of the Lion King in August and maybe we’ll check out a few others.

Thanks Rick for an awesome video. The Loin King show if our favorite. We see it ever time we go. We haven’t seen any other one. My teenagers don’t like the shows. When my husband and go in June we’re going to get to enjoy all the shows and parades. The kids think their to big for that stuff.

Thanks for doing the Lion King. As I twitted I haven’t seen that in a long time, it is not one of my wife’s favorites. These weekly blogs give me some of my Disney fix. In about 3 weeks I will get to see it in person.
I think you should go WDW every week and do your show from there. I am trying to give you a reason to go every week. My favorite show currently is Lights Motors Action in DHS.

    Hi Rick,
Another great show, and I just love the background that you built. How long did that take you? Just kidding. Anyway, I am not really sure if this qualifies as a show, but as I have said before on twitter, I have to pick The enchanted Tiki room. I just love that show, even though they re-did it. None the less, it’s still a great show.

    Keep up the great work.

Another FANTASTIC video! I loved the show both live and on your website. You’re a pretty good camera man, too!

My favorite show is DEFINATELY the Finding Nemo show at Hollywood Studios. I just love all of the colors and costumes, and those giant jellyfish!

Again, thanks for the great video. I know that when your video is up, another seven days have been taken off of our “Disney Countdown”!

P.S. Will you be in Disney anytime around August 15-21?

Thanks for the video and it was a great idea to film from Disney! Love it! I liked the video. It has been a couple of years since I watched the Lion King show.
I have to say I love the Wishes fireworks. There is just something about the music and narration along with the fireworks that gives me chills and brings tears to my eyes every time.
Can you film from Space Mountain and the Blue Line once they complete their renovation? I am dying to see how/if they change any!
    Can’t wait for next week.
Thanks for bringing us a weekly dose of Disney!

Hey Rick, That was pretty cool doing your video live from Disney World. I hope you do it again. With out a doubt, Lion King is my favorite Theme Park Show at Disney World. I love the sights, sounds, colorful costumes, singing and dancing. And while I am at it–The Animal Kingdom is my favorite theme park at Disney World. Can’t wait to go back. As far as theme park shows go, I was recently at the California Adventure theme park. I really liked the Aladdin- A Musical Spectacular show. I hope to see it again sometime in the future.

Rick–I just want you to know that I always look forward to watching your vidoes each week. It is the last thing I do before I go to bed on Saturday nights.
