Love the Grizzly River Run. When I rode it in 2008, My shirt got soaked. I bought a shirt at the store right next to the ride. It had Grumpy and it said, “You’d Be Grumpy Too, if someone was standing in front of you reading the entire message printed on the front of your T-shirt.” LOL

Great to see the Cali version on Kali! I’ve never been, and I love “riding with you”! This ride seems longer than Kali, which is really cool. Thanks for sharing!

Awsome ride!!! I loved the fact that everyone screamed at the same time. That really touched my funny bone!! Sure cooled me down, watching it!!!
Again, I love traveling with you all. It’s like a mini vacation after a long day at work!! And I won the prize this week!! YAY I love my plush car! Thank you sooo much!

The statue is 20 foot tall I think. Ok Rick I know you guys have winter, it’s just a little different than we have. I really liked that Grizzly River Run it seemed like it had a little more to it than the one at WDW. I noticed Leslie seemed to get pretty soaked. Thanks for sharing

Thanks so much Rick, Grizzly River Run did seem longer with bigger drops! When I make to the land where Walt walked, I’m absolutely going to experience this attraction! I like a man who knows his numbers, so I agree with everything Tony said up above, you don’t dispute him!!! HA! So looking forward to next week and the future, we have Aulani and Costa Rica coming up, then the granddaddy of them all, the F&W episodes, great time to be a TWR fan! You keep me smilin’ and I’m so thankful!

Since Disneyland is only a one flight for me so I like Grizzly Run. The best time to do it is in the summer. If you get soaked just go to Screaming to dry off. The winters in Anahiem are cold so riing it is very risky. Durning the winter it is down for work.

Hi Rick,
I didn’t get to ride this fun attraction when I was out in DL because it was too cold! It was in April but it was not the typical CA weather for this time of year. hopefully I will get to DL again when it is hot outside to try this water ride.

Hey Rick,
Grizzly River Run looks way better than Kali River Rapids. I will get on it. Never been to Disneyland. I hope I go before the year 2020. I have never been to California period. It looks as beautiful as Florida. I think GRR looks more themed than KRR.

Oh and have a good week Rick

Kind of late to the party this week as Hurricane Isaac temporarily killed my internet connect. If I had to guess, I’d say that bear is about 20 feet tall! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Hey Rick,
Great video. Watching the ride sure made me wish I could take a quick trip to Disneyland and ride the Grizzly River Run while the weather is warm enough to make getting drenched refreshing and fun.
The bear at the entrance to Grizzly River Run is 20 feet tall. Thank goodness for the internet and google. They sure made it quick and easy to find the answer.
See you next week.

Thank you for another great video actually two! I had to play catch up but it was fun to watch both water rides back to back. It looks like the California ride is longer and better. *sigh* Someday I will get out there. I just love these Disney fixes you give me! I have no idea how big that bear is but he looks really cool! I just love when you do the ride videos!!
Thanks again and Mater says to tell you Hi!

I like the Kali river rapids better even though the one in CA is longer. The bear is 20 feet tall and I really like how much it really looks like carved wood. I know you said you like the CA version better but I have a question on another of your prefrences. DO you like the castle at DW or DL better. I prefer DW’s myself.

I have never seen Grizzly River Run so thanks for the video. Maybe I missed it, but it seems Kali has more themeing on the ride than Grizzly, so I think I prefer Kali. I could change my mind if I ever get out west for grizzly though.
Once again I’m behind but by just one week this time. Hopefully I can keep up now with the great videos. I never miss a single one. I may be late in viewing some, but they get seen. 🙂
