Thanks for the compliment Jacob. The is my favorite fireworks show at WDW just because of the music. I think it is also the most expensive fireworks show at WDW, coasting somewhere around $50,000 per show. Here is a link ato a whole slew of other facts about the original show. http://www.disneybythenumbers.com/wdw/page147/page147.html

Ah, I was wondering if (and hoping) you were gonna’ do Illuminations! Back before my husband had been to Disney, we would talk about fireworks off and on, and I would always be like, “No, you have to see Disney fireworks…nobody does it like Disney.” When we finally took him over X-mas ’08 and he saw this, at the big ending he was just like, “…WOW”. I think I’ve spoiled him now (and my brother-in-law, who we took over X-mas ’09), as when we were watching some non-themed Halloween fireworks this yr., they were ready to go before they were over, haha.

    Hey Rick.
What a great show. I have never seen it in person. Maybe in 2013. It rivals Wishes at the Magic Kingdom. Keep them coming.

    Hey Rick and Andrew,

OH HOW I LOVE FIREWORKS! That is my favorite fireworks show at Disney World. No matter how many times I see it during my stay at Disney World I always have to go back and see it the night before I leave.

I have never before seen the Holiday Iluminations added on to the end of the show. I enjoyed that part too but I am disappointed that the name Jesus Christ was not even mentioned. After all, he is the reason we celebrate the Christmas season at this time of the year.

That was a great video guys! See you tomorrow.

Hi Bob, it’s my favorite as well. The Holiday edition is great but you’re right, they do not mention the name of Jesus Christ. But I did find it truly amazing how many other places you will find God and Jesus Christ talked about around Epcot during the Christmas season. Lots of the storytellers in each country talk about God and the Christ Child and they even have Gospel singers in Future World. And you can’t forget about the Candlelight Processional which is full on straight from the Bible (keep looking for an episode of that this year).

thanks for a great show. I really enjoy them. where did you film it from on the Lagoon it was a great spot to film it from. thanks Rick, Andrew an Ken

    Andrew Harris Reply:

John, the spot I filmed it from is right near the entrance to the Rose & Crown Pub in the UK pavilion. There is a 5.5 foot tall bush that nobody wanted to stand behind but because of my height I was able to see everything fine.
