Great show as always, that ride is one of my favorites at Epcot. It’s a great way to cool off from a hot Florida day as the ride usually has no wait time at all.

We love Journey Into Imagination with Figment!! We always ride it multiple times when we visit Epcot. Thanks for the great video, as always.

There are so many hidden Mickey’s that I always look for when we are at WDW. I think my favorite one is in Spaceship Earth, where the sleeping monk has doodled one on the manuscript he is working on. I also like the 3 plates that form a hidden Mickey in the party scene of Haunted Mansion.

Thanks again for a great Travel with Rick episode!!

    Rick-
One of our favorite rides! Figment is a keeper. We even have a tape of the original version. My son loved to ride it over, and over, and over again, so we taped it so he could watch it at home. He’s 19 now!! Favorite hidden Mickey is at Snow White’s Scary Adventure, in the loading area on the wall there is a mural with the cottage and the dwarf’s clothes on the line. One pair of overalls has a hidden Mickey on the pocket! Sure enjoy these every week. We leave in June, can’t wait!

Figment is one of my favorite rides. The song stays in my head ALL day. This week my 2 year old actually sat on my lap to watch. It seems that he “loves” Figment also. Now I can’t wait to take him on in 43 days. Thank you for doing this. Now only are you keeping us in touch with Disney you are lettign my kids really see te rides befroe they go on. Daughtr is scared of rides untill she sees them. She will be going on Splash Mountain because of your other episode.

I like the hidden Mickey on the golf ball while riding Soarin in the Epcot. Although I always enjoy looking for and finding all the hidden Mickeys! I also like the Figment ride, although I really liked the original Figment ride. Thanks for your hard work, Rick.

“Imagination….imagination….” Got that stuck in my head now….I think that song sticks with me more than Small World!! (I will be sure to direct any complaints my kids have about my singing on to you, ok??! 😉 ) Love Figment!! Always have. I even have some of the ‘old’ Figment stuffed toys from my kids first visit (way back in the early 90s). One of my favorite things to do here, once you leave, is to visit the interactive displays. We always send an E-Postcard home…makes us smile!

Favorite hidden Mickey? Oh that is easy!! It is the one on the receipt that the cashier at the Emporium just handed me! That means I am on Main St. in the Magic Kingdom shopping!

Another wonderful video. I’m getting ready to go on my 6th trip in August and I’ve never been on Figment but I might try to get my daughter to ride it this trip. The only obstacle will be the smell because after riding Stitch in Magic Kingdom she hates any ride with smells.
My favorite Hidden Mickey is the first one I ever found because I knew to look for it which is the one with the plates on the table in Haunted Mansion.

  12. Hey Rick! Journey into Imagination w/ Figment was fun. My 5 year old watched with me and really loved it!

My favorite “Hidden Mickey” is the plates in the Haunted Mansion. It was the first one I ever saw… well before I knew there were such things as “Hidden Mickeys”. So, that one is special.

BTW, my 5 year old sees “Hidden Mickey’s” everywhere! In the grocery store, in the sky, at the park. So much fun!

  13. Thelma Huss says:

This ride would be not as appealing without the song…it is what brings the joy. I love these little places that are not main stream Disney, but bring new flavor to Mickey’s world.

Because Haunted Mansion is my most favorite place, my favorite hidden Mickey is the one in Haunted Mansion too. It looks like I am not alone in my selection.

Thanks for the video Rick……still enjoy the original one better, but this is a must for the next trip. Love Figment!

My favorite hidden Mickey is actually one that we saw leaving Epcot one time about 12 years ago….the clouds had formed a hidden “Mickey” in the sky. It was incredible to see. Everyone on the bus rushed to one side to see it. My son, who was 6 at the time, just beamed from ear to ear….one of our favorite memories together.

I love the Figment ride.. there’s almost never a wait and that catchy tune gets stuck in your head all day long!

My favorite hidden Mickey is the one formed by the second (I think) fireworks at the end of Soarin’!

This is one of my very Favorite rides in all of Disney World! I rode this my first trip there last Summer, and it always makes me smile, so I’ll keep watching this video for a long while. I’ve heard some of the older versions of the song, and I just don’t like them as much, and I hope they Keep Eric Idle as the Professor!

I didn’t find too many Hidden Mickey’s when I was there last summer, we were in a big run around to see so many things, but I will have to hunt harder (maybe) the next time! I did find one I liked in our resort room, carved into a small shelf above the dresser…so cute!

My favorite hidden Mickeys are the ones woven into the carpet at the Grand Floridian. Walked over them on two different trips before spotting them last year…

Love Figment! I still remember the original ride as my favorite, but the new one is good too. (also a Python fan, so it makes it that much sweeter!)

As for Hidden Mickey’s…. I love discovering them! My favorites are the ones where they put the siloutte of mickey’s head and ears in something like a door (entry into Wine room in California Grill) or on the wall.

Thanks Rick for the video it was great. We haven’t ridden this but we will next trip. I finally got my copy of the Passpoter back from my daughter and went back through all the Episodes and comments to make notes on all of the things we missed on our previous trip. We should have a great list of things for our next visit to WDW. What a great way to plan a trip. We didn’t look for the Hidden Mickey’s on our last visit but I have gotten alot of info on it and we will be in search of them this time.

    Thanks Again,

Thanks so much Rick for another enjoyable video.
I always try to find the Hidden Mickeys But then I get caught up in the ride ot watching my girls enjoy themselves. They always tell me afterwards tehy saw them. I was so excited when we purchased the TEST TRACK photo and saw the water hose creates a Hidden Mickey. I was way too excited, for a 37 year old woman, to finally see one (although my 12 year old is the one that noticed 1st).
    Thanks so much!

Hi Rick, I enjoyed the video. I have been to WDW 4 times and I have never been to Journey Into Imagination. I will put it on my list of things to do on my next trip to WDW. My favorite Hidden Mickey?? I don’t have one. I have seen them from time to time but I can’t remember where. I will have to pay more attention to the Hidden Mickey’s when I go to WDW next time. Does WDW have some kind of log book to write down where all the Hidden Mickeys are? That would be kind of a fun thing to do–try and find all the Hidden Mickeys.

Rick, I have a question for you. It seems like you always have another trip planned for WDW. Are your trips to WDW for pleasure, business, or both? Maybe on my next trip to WDW our paths will cross and I will shake your hand and say Hi!

We love Figment and make sure to do this attraction multiple times each trip. Thanks for all the episodes Rick! We watch them each week and it is another way to help us countdown to our September trip.

As for our favorite Hidden Mickey, it has to be the ones you see in the sky during wishes. Nothing makes us feel the magic like the music, the fireworks and seeing mickey sparkling in the sky. Thanks for all your hard work Rick.
