I love figment, well old figment more then new figment, but still love the little guy.

  2. Marc says:

Great show as always, that ride is one of my favorites at Epcot. It’s a great way to cool off from a hot Florida day as the ride usually has no wait time at all.

  3. Linda Miller says:

We love Journey Into Imagination with Figment!! We always ride it multiple times when we visit Epcot. Thanks for the great video, as always.

There are so many hidden Mickey’s that I always look for when we are at WDW. I think my favorite one is in Spaceship Earth, where the sleeping monk has doodled one on the manuscript he is working on. I also like the 3 plates that form a hidden Mickey in the party scene of Haunted Mansion.

Thanks again for a great Travel with Rick episode!!

  4. Janet Gill says:

One of our favorite rides! Figment is a keeper. We even have a tape of the original version. My son loved to ride it over, and over, and over again, so we taped it so he could watch it at home. He’s 19 now!! Favorite hidden Mickey is at Snow White’s Scary Adventure, in the loading area on the wall there is a mural with the cottage and the dwarf’s clothes on the line. One pair of overalls has a hidden Mickey on the pocket! Sure enjoy these every week. We leave in June, can’t wait!

  5. Fran Skall says:

In 7 trips to WDW We’ve never been on this attraction. I guess it will be something we will be trying this trip. Thanks for introducing it to me, Rick.

  6. John Mayzum says:

Figment is one of my favorite rides. The song stays in my head ALL day. This week my 2 year old actually sat on my lap to watch. It seems that he “loves” Figment also. Now I can’t wait to take him on in 43 days. Thank you for doing this. Now only are you keeping us in touch with Disney you are lettign my kids really see te rides befroe they go on. Daughtr is scared of rides untill she sees them. She will be going on Splash Mountain because of your other episode.

  7. Laura says:

Awesome – I will have to revisit that one again next week!!

  8. Pati McElroy says:

I like the hidden Mickey on the golf ball while riding Soarin in the Epcot. Although I always enjoy looking for and finding all the hidden Mickeys! I also like the Figment ride, although I really liked the original Figment ride. Thanks for your hard work, Rick.

  9. Colleen Anastasi says:

“Imagination….imagination….” Got that stuck in my head now….I think that song sticks with me more than Small World!! (I will be sure to direct any complaints my kids have about my singing on to you, ok??! 😉 ) Love Figment!! Always have. I even have some of the ‘old’ Figment stuffed toys from my kids first visit (way back in the early 90s). One of my favorite things to do here, once you leave, is to visit the interactive displays. We always send an E-Postcard home…makes us smile!

Favorite hidden Mickey? Oh that is easy!! It is the one on the receipt that the cashier at the Emporium just handed me! That means I am on Main St. in the Magic Kingdom shopping!

  10. Chris Albrecht says:

I love Figment! We didn’t do the Figment ride in December, but definately will again when we are there in May. That song will stay with me all day! Thanks for sharing this Rick 🙂

  11. Kris Koelzer says:

Another wonderful video. I’m getting ready to go on my 6th trip in August and I’ve never been on Figment but I might try to get my daughter to ride it this trip. The only obstacle will be the smell because after riding Stitch in Magic Kingdom she hates any ride with smells.
My favorite Hidden Mickey is the first one I ever found because I knew to look for it which is the one with the plates on the table in Haunted Mansion.

  12. Hey Rick! Journey into Imagination w/ Figment was fun. My 5 year old watched with me and really loved it!

My favorite “Hidden Mickey” is the plates in the Haunted Mansion. It was the first one I ever saw… well before I knew there were such things as “Hidden Mickeys”. So, that one is special.

BTW, my 5 year old sees “Hidden Mickey’s” everywhere! In the grocery store, in the sky, at the park. So much fun!

  13. Thelma Huss says:

This ride would be not as appealing without the song…it is what brings the joy. I love these little places that are not main stream Disney, but bring new flavor to Mickey’s world.

Because Haunted Mansion is my most favorite place, my favorite hidden Mickey is the one in Haunted Mansion too. It looks like I am not alone in my selection.

  14. DeJuan Martin says:

Thanks, Rick…this is one that we missed last visit, but we’ll plan on it next visit!

  15. Mimi Lemon says:

Great Show this week Rick!!! Andrew (5) and I enjoy watching. I have to say this ride I have forgotten about in the last 7 times we have visited. Andrew had mentioned he had never riden this ride. He said next time we have to ride this. Thank you for taking us on the ride so next visit we will for sure not miss it.

  16. John McKnight says:

Love your show, have not been to Disney World in about 10 years but we are going in two weeks so your video’s make it all the more exciting. Have never looked for the hidden Mickey’s before but plan to this trip. keep up the good work.

  17. Debbie Bolen says:

Thanks for the video Rick……still enjoy the original one better, but this is a must for the next trip. Love Figment!

My favorite hidden Mickey is actually one that we saw leaving Epcot one time about 12 years ago….the clouds had formed a hidden “Mickey” in the sky. It was incredible to see. Everyone on the bus rushed to one side to see it. My son, who was 6 at the time, just beamed from ear to ear….one of our favorite memories together.

  18. Kate Puckett says:

Hey Rick! This is the first time I’ve seen your show, I really enjoyed it! I am getting ready for my next trip to WDW in only a couple of weeks, so your videos get me extra excited!

I love the Figment ride.. there’s almost never a wait and that catchy tune gets stuck in your head all day long!

My favorite hidden Mickey is the one formed by the second (I think) fireworks at the end of Soarin’!

  19. Michelle MacVane says:

Hi – I just found this site and LOVE the videos!!!! Thanks so much for sharing that little bit of Disney Magic with everyone who comes here..

My Fave Hidden Mickey is the one in the grates in the Japan fish pond.

  20. Mayra Lopez says:

I love this ride. It’s so relaxing, perfect for getting out of the hot Orlando sun. I especially like the part of the open house where everything is upside down.

  21. Jeanne Cundiff says:

    Hi Rick!
We love to get on and see what you are showing! This ride looks very cute. We missed this one but I hope we get to go on it during our next trip. My favorite Hidden Mickey is the one that shows up on the Test Track Photo that they take. You don’t see it during the ride!
Thanks for another great video; we LOVE them.

  22. Carly Cundiff says:

    Hi Rick!

Another great video. My parents and I missed it last time, but we’ll be sure to do it this time ;). My favorite hidden mickey is definately in the “Germany pavilions. Around the train tracks there is a piece of shrub in the shape of a mickey head.

Another great video, rick. Can’t wait for your next one!

  23. Donna Isard says:

    Great show. Thanks again Rick.

Don’t really have a favorite Hidden Mickey yet.
    Donna Isard

  24. Mark Obren says:

Hi Rick, We have’nt done Figment yet .Thanks for the video, it looks great !
My favorite hidden Mickey is the 1st one my daughter found on our 1st trip at the 25th anniversary celebration of WDW.She found it at the Peter Pans Flight . Its located on a wall painted on a tree( looks like a knot on the tree).

  25. Jery Clendennen says:

This is one of my very Favorite rides in all of Disney World! I rode this my first trip there last Summer, and it always makes me smile, so I’ll keep watching this video for a long while. I’ve heard some of the older versions of the song, and I just don’t like them as much, and I hope they Keep Eric Idle as the Professor!

I didn’t find too many Hidden Mickey’s when I was there last summer, we were in a big run around to see so many things, but I will have to hunt harder (maybe) the next time! I did find one I liked in our resort room, carved into a small shelf above the dresser…so cute!

  26. Sandy says:

Rick, these videos are making me mousesick – linda like homesick – gotta get back to Disney World!! Thanks for doing the video on Figment. I just love that little guy, went into mourning when he was on hiatus.

My favorite hidden Mickeys are the ones woven into the carpet at the Grand Floridian. Walked over them on two different trips before spotting them last year…

  27. June Stevens says:

Love Figment! I still remember the original ride as my favorite, but the new one is good too. (also a Python fan, so it makes it that much sweeter!)

As for Hidden Mickey’s…. I love discovering them! My favorites are the ones where they put the siloutte of mickey’s head and ears in something like a door (entry into Wine room in California Grill) or on the wall.

  28. says:

I like the little Figment. The ride is fun to but didnt find mickey head anywere on the ride. I am sure it is there someplace on the ride.

  29. Penny Serrato says:

Thanks Rick for the video it was great. We haven’t ridden this but we will next trip. I finally got my copy of the Passpoter back from my daughter and went back through all the Episodes and comments to make notes on all of the things we missed on our previous trip. We should have a great list of things for our next visit to WDW. What a great way to plan a trip. We didn’t look for the Hidden Mickey’s on our last visit but I have gotten alot of info on it and we will be in search of them this time.

    Thanks Again,

  30. Cheryl Mekarski says:

    Thanks for the video!
I am always so overwhelmed with what is going on that I never see any Hidden Mickeys.

  31. Maryan Blanford says:

Great trip with Figment – always an enjoyable ride.
There are so many hidden Mickey’s…and I’m always finding ones I didn’t know about. My favorite right now is the golf ball in Soarin’.
I’m really enjoying these mini-trips every week…and you’re FaceBook/Twitter entries are always fun.
    Thanks, Rick!!

  32. Mindy Burdette says:

Hi Rick, We always do this ride and the great thing is there is never a line! I like this ride except for the skunk smell, but that part of the fun!

My favorite hidden Mickey was in arrangement of the dinner plates at the Haunted Mansion.

  33. Melissa Hallenbeck says:

    Hi Rick,

I really enjoyed this week’s episode. We always look forward to going on this attraction. It is never really busy and it is a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing the video with us.

My favorite hidden Mickey in Disney World is the one in Haunted Mansion. We always look for the dinner plates that make a mickey in the dining room scene. It is one that we always remember.

  34. Tammy Norman says:

My fave hidden Mickey is the viking wearing Mickey ears in Maelstrom

  35. Barbara Thompson says:

Hi Rick, We love the Figment ride. We have a few old and new Figments around our home. We look forward to ride it when we go down to WDW. We dont have it here at Disneyland.

As for as my favorite Mickey its in the Haunted Mansion. That was the frist one that we ever found when we started looking for them.

  36. Teresa Mays says:

Thanks so much Rick for another enjoyable video.
I always try to find the Hidden Mickeys But then I get caught up in the ride ot watching my girls enjoy themselves. They always tell me afterwards tehy saw them. I was so excited when we purchased the TEST TRACK photo and saw the water hose creates a Hidden Mickey. I was way too excited, for a 37 year old woman, to finally see one (although my 12 year old is the one that noticed 1st).
    Thanks so much!

  37. Bob Nordmark says:

Hi Rick, I enjoyed the video. I have been to WDW 4 times and I have never been to Journey Into Imagination. I will put it on my list of things to do on my next trip to WDW. My favorite Hidden Mickey?? I don’t have one. I have seen them from time to time but I can’t remember where. I will have to pay more attention to the Hidden Mickey’s when I go to WDW next time. Does WDW have some kind of log book to write down where all the Hidden Mickeys are? That would be kind of a fun thing to do–try and find all the Hidden Mickeys.

Rick, I have a question for you. It seems like you always have another trip planned for WDW. Are your trips to WDW for pleasure, business, or both? Maybe on my next trip to WDW our paths will cross and I will shake your hand and say Hi!

  38. claire tanguy says:

Hi Rick, Thank you for this video. Il’s great to review this attraction. I have a question for you : I’m a winner for passporter last week but I don’t know send a email to you. What’s your email adress. Thank you for the answer.

  40. Annette Peppler says:

Great Video! I’ve always loved Figment! My favorite hidden Mickey is the dinner plates in Haunted Mansion, probably because it is my favorite ride.

  41. Jules says:

We love Figment and make sure to do this attraction multiple times each trip. Thanks for all the episodes Rick! We watch them each week and it is another way to help us countdown to our September trip.

As for our favorite Hidden Mickey, it has to be the ones you see in the sky during wishes. Nothing makes us feel the magic like the music, the fireworks and seeing mickey sparkling in the sky. Thanks for all your hard work Rick.

  42. Been reading about Figment but couldn’t visualise the little guy so this video has been really useful! Thanks 🙂

  43. Rick, did you choose a purple shirt purposefully to show your love of Figment? 😉

  44. Elizabeth Batsios says:

    Thanks for another great video!
My favorite Hidden Mickey is on the floor in the lobby of the Polynesian. That’s my favorite resort, and I love to see it there!

  45. Kelly says:

    I love this ride!

  46. Dale Short says:

We love Figment too. Really like the older version better–the one with the Dreamfinder. The song was even better then too. Our favorite hidden Mickey is one at The Pirates of the Caribbean. The lock on the prison where the dog holds the keys. Thanks again Rick!

  47. Karen Revis says:

We love Figment! One of our favorites at EPCOT. I can NEVER get my kids out of Imagineworks after though! It is like pulling teeth! And yes, I do have that song stuck in my head now!

Favorite Hidden Mickey? Actually it is my favorite hidden Minnie! The only one they have! On the Great Movie Ride at Hollywood Studios!

Karen J Revis in CT (64 days till Disney!)

  48. Steve S. says:

I miss the old Journey Into Imagination with the Dreamfinder. Ride and music was better then.

I don’t know about a favorite hidden Mickey. I like the one in Splash Mountain at the side of the Riverboat in the sky shaped as a lying down Mickey cloud.

  49. Geri Corrales says:

I loved watching your video with Figment. I haven’t been to WDW since the late 80’s and I remember Figment. I will be going back to WDW in August 2009. I enjoyed watching. Thanks for bringing back the memories of Figment.
