Great video, Rick! I love the Jungle Cruise. I watched it here at work – sure wish the sound was working on our computers =( – and wow! I would much rather be there than here on a Friday!

Hi Rick! Just watched this weeks episode and loved it! Again watched with one of my younger children to prepare her for when we go! Although hearing the skipper talking about the times of the parades made me homesick!! For this weeks question, favourite beverage for me has to be between the oreo milkshake at beaches n cream and the pineapple dole whip in adventureland!

Hi Rick! I love all of those silly jokes on the Jungle Cruise. Thank you for another great video. One of my favorite things to do is go to the Sci-Fi and have one of their incredibly thick milkshakes. I also love those silly movies!
    Thanks Again!!!!

It’s official…my son KNOWS I am a Disney geek….as we were watching the video together, I was able to tell the jokes before the skipper!! I have to give some serious credit here to the skipper on this ride in particular…to be stuck like that at the end of the ride and keep going….get job!

Favortie drink…..Dole Whip Float!! My girls prefer the Root Beer float from Aloha Isle…not me! Don’t mess with my float!

Thanks for the great photo of the Arches!! The absolute best!!!

Another great video. We had the best skipper in June 2008 it was the hardest I’ve ever laughed on that ride before. Although once we had a trainee for Hong Kong Disney and you couldn’t understand a word she said with her accent but she was cracking herself up so much with her jokes it made the ride funny.
I have several favorite theme park drinks: Dole Whip Float, cappacino at Kona Cafe and I plan to try one of those slushies in the France pavilion in August. Can’t wait to get home tonight and show this video to my daughter.

I like the jungle cruise but my wife does not. We go on every year, I win every year. I have not been on the cruise at night so this year we are going at night. I heard it was sometimes even funnier then.

You nailed it on the head for my favorite drink. A Coke while eating my Casey’s hotdog.

    Hi Rick!

Thanks so much for putting up the Jungle Cruise video. It’s one of my favorite rides in adventure land.

When we went to WDW in Oct 2007, my dad only wanted a caricature of my brother and I. So after waiting 2 hours for a man to draw us a picture in Main Street USA, my mom went and got us a couple of Cokes from Casey’s. It tasted so good.

Great video again, Rick. I can’t wait for your next one!

Love the videos’s Rick. I really enjoyed watching Jungle Cruise it reminded me of our trip last December. I love the dole whips in Adventureland. Fantastic photo of the entrance I can’t wait to see that again in September.

    Hi, Rick!

Thanks for another great video. We love the Jungle Cruise! Your skipper was the same one we had on our last visit. I recognized her voice before I even saw her.

Our favorite drink at WDW is a frozen coke with a soft pretzel after riding Test Track. A coke with a Casey’s hot dog is also right up there!

Looking forward to next week’s video!!

  11. Hi Rick,

Thanks for the ride on Jungle Cruise. I loved it at night. We had the best skipper in January.

My favorite drink would have to be a Dole Whip Float. Yummy!

    Thanks Rick,
I had never ridden the Jungle Cruise so I especially enjoyed it. It will be one of the items for my trip to WDW in Dec 2009. Since I have only been to WDW 1 time I don’t have a favorite beverage. I will be reading all the comments for suggestions on what I want to try on my next trip.

    Thanks Again,
    Penny

    Thanks Rick,
We will have to this ride again when we get back down to Disney in Dec. Even though we have been to Disney a few times now I don’t really have a favorite drink of yet.

    Thanks Again,
    Donna

Another Great Episode Rick! I’ve been to WDW more times that I can count, but I don’t remember riding the Jungle Cruise!!! Crazy I know, if I did ride it I was too small to remember. Thanks for the video, now I know what I’ve been missing. It looks like fun, my son would love it! We’re planning another trip for this November or January, so I’ll make sure to see it this trip!

As for my favorite drink – Sci-Fi’s thick chocolate shake, with a burger of course)
    mmm……

Rick…thanks for the Jungle cruise. It’s always fun when you have a good skipper.
As for my favorite drink at The World…it has to be the Strawberry Oolong Tea Slushie at the Joy of Tea stand right outside of The China Pavillion at Epcot’s World Showcase. On a hot day there is nothing more refreshing. My wife and I have at least 2 of these on each trip. I highly recommend you try one. You won’t regret it.
    Have a great day!

Love the jungle cruise! Thanks! My favorite beverage, as you mentioned, is the coffee at the Kona Cafe. Even though it may be served elsewhere, I think it is the best coffee in WDW!

Another great video Rick. As I have stated in other comments, England is my favorite spot in Epcot and I love going to the pub and getting a pint of Bass.

    Thanks!

Great video of the Jungle Cruise. We haven’t been on it in about 15 years. My son didn’t like the gun shot, but I don’t think they do that any more!
My favorite beverage is the frozen coke at Pop Century Resort.

  22. Alisa Niethammer says:

Okay where’s my safari hat I want to go on the jungle cruise! I am so ready to go! Love your videos–My favorite drink is the watermelon flavored drink in the coke taste pavillion in Epcot. Some probably knows the name but I can’t think of it right now. I always have to go get a couple cups of that!

  23. Bob Nordmark says:

Hey Rick, As always I enjoyed your video except that your videos do cause me a problem. They make me too anxious for my next trip to Disney World and I don’t know where the money will come from to pay for that trip. Oh well, it doesn’t cost anything to dream about my next trip to Disney World.

As for my favorite theme park drink–I don’t really have one. But on a hot, sunny day a nice cold bottle of water sure feels good. I was at Disneyland a couple of weeks ago and the evening weather was quite cool. I had a cup of hot chocolate and pastry. It hit the spot and warmed me up.

The Jungle Cruise has always drawn our family. It is an old ride, but that is what makes it special…we went in 71 with our youngest girl and now go with our grandchildren. The memories add up. So happy it hasn’t changed too much. My favorite drink is coffee [anywhere in the park] and then set on one of the many benches and watch the people pass by.

  25. Steve Rydzyk says:

    Hi Rick,

Another great video! Best ride on the Jungle Cruise is when the Skipper allowed my 5 year old son drive the boat for a few minutes. Skipper made a few short (with respect to height) jokes and explained why children shouldn’t be allowed to drive boats. Anyways, best drink has to be the old reliable diet coke from anywhere on-site. When it’s hot out, doesn’t matter what the drink is as long as it is cold!!!! See ya next week.

Great Jungle Cruise video. We always make sure to ride it during the day and also at night on each trip.

I’m kind of boring with regard to my favorite drink at WDW – either regular Coke or iced tea. My son had a kaki gori (I think from Japan) on our last trip and really liked it. Now my daughter can’t wait to try one on our next trip in June.

  27. Cheryl Mekarski says:

My favorite beverage – a Margharita sitting at Cantina de San Angel, watching the World go by.

  28. Kelly Pettis says:

As always, a great video. I love watching the videos. My favorite beverage? Well I can honestly say that I have never tried any special beverages at WDW. I did enjoy the Coke place at Epcot where you could try different Cokes from around the world. And the best part of it all is that it is Free.

I loved the Pun Filled Jungle Cruise video. It’s been a few years since I last rode it and I saw things that I think are new to me. Always a treat. I’m one of those guests who laughs through the whole trip to the delight of the Tour Guide.
Favorite drink? It’s Africa hot there, so either Iced Tea or water…gallons and gallons of water.
Keep the videos coming. It’s like a mini trip. 🙂

Rick shoots & scores again! Another great episode! Ashley was a hoot – a couple of new giggles and a lot of the old stand-bys. Gotta love it!!
Favorite drink…Any beer in World Showcase. There are so many to choose from…every country has it’s own specialty. But, you really can’t go wrong with a pint at the Rose & Crown!!

    Rick,

Who doesn’t love the comedy of the Jungle Cruise? That’s the whole point of the ride for me. I think each time I go the Skipper gets funnier than the last time.

Favorite drink, that’s a tough one. I will go with (if it’s not too hot outside) coffee at Kona Cafe.

I have only been 1 time (we are going again in Sept) The time we went we had smoothies from tomorrowland…think it was Auntie Gravities? Wonderful on a hot afternoon. My husband (who’s from FL) has been tons of times for the afternoon. His response to your comment on the DoleWhip was ‘MMMMM’…I think we may have issues now if he held out on something that good! Especially since half the others like it so much as well!! 🙂

  42. Debbie Bolen says:

Loved the video! It has been years since I’ve been on Jungle Cruise – it is definetely going on my next list of things to do next time!

Thanks for the picture of the entrance – just those few seconds brought back so many memories and put a smile on my face. Makes me miss Disney even more.

My favorite drink………I have a couple – the Kir Royale from France, the frozen margarita with the 3 flavors from Mexico and a strong cup of coffee from the Fountain View in the morning.

  43. Thanks for doing the World Famous Jungle Cruise, and thanks for the shout-out, Rick! I’m a bit late watching this week due to my vacation (NOT at Disney! Gasp!), but it was great to see it. Gotta love those anti-aircraft hippos!

My favorite drink is kind of boring, since I almost exclusively drink water (though the free hot cocoa during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is great). Instead, I’ll nominate the favorite drink of my podcast co-host. As our listeners — and many MouseFest attendees — know, Mike’s favorite drink is the Blue-tini (officially called the “Blue Glowtini”), which was the official alcoholic beverage of the Year of a Million Dreams, and a beverage industry award-winner.

    Thanks again!

  44. Hi Rick! My girlfriends and I just booked with Kingdom Magic for October! No kids…can’t believe it! We are so excited to be there during Food and Wine! I’m sure we will discover many new “favorite” WDW drinks that weekend… but for now, I will fondly recall Mexican Margarita’s from vacations past! 🙂

Love the fact that you did a video on the World Famous Jungle Cruise. As a former skipper I love reading how all of these folks love the JC. Every once in a while I will get back to the park and supervisors will let me do my old spiel. We will go at night with the cast members and do the old jokes.

Would love to talk with you sometime about what you do for Disney and keeping the magic alive.

    Thanks again
