  3. Jan says:

Could the Gordon Lightfoot song found at the Canada Pavillion be “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald”?

  4. Disonaut says:

Would that be the 1976 Gordon Lightfoot hit, the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald? (Which of course sunk in Lake Superior, off the North Shore of Minnesota, but not too far from the shores of Canada?)

Great vidcast! Haven’t seen this before, but saw a tweet and stopped by. Neat to hear about the color companion: I look forward to buying a copy if for no other reason than Len’s witty commentary! (My wife and I are huge fans of the WDWToday podcast–it makes my commute 99% better–and of TouringPlans.com–Lines rocks!–and the Unofficial Guide: a trip to WDW without any of those three is unimaginable.)

I look forward to checking out several of the other videos on your site!

Can’t wait for the Unofficial Guide Color Companion. Sounds great! Definitely will be checking out WDW Today (it’s one of the few Disney sites I haven’t checked out.)

The Gordon Lightfoot song (if I remember correctly) is The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Guess I’ll have to get out my Epcot music to check it out!

Great show Rick! That was hysterical!
Could The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald possibly be the correct answer? I hope so because I just copyed it from everyone else.
My favorite song was Blue Nose from the movie O’Cananda. I was sad to see they took it out of the new version 🙁
    Have a great week!

I believe the song is “If you could read my mind …” composed by Gordon Lightfoot (source http://www.magicsparks.com/epcot/showcase/index.htm )

Background music for Travel with Rick, February 7 show – Christmas.

More information about Epcot Canada can be found on page 583 of the 2009 Unofficial Guide to WDW (DING!!!)

    Nice show Rick!

I have absolutely no idea. It’s probably one of the three already mentioned but I can’t decide which one. So, I will say “If you could read my mind”?
I look forward to reading the color companion to the Unofficial Guide!

Hi Rick, It looks like you guys had a lot of fun making this weeks video. I don’t know what the name of the Gordon Lightfoot song was. Rick, if you are running out of ideas for a video how about doing one about the water parks?

I look forward to seeing next weeks video.

I’ll say “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.” I believe that “If you could read my mind” was released prior to 1976.

Great interview Rick! Those guys were fun.
I also really enjoyed hearing the Christmas music playing in the Epcot background. The whole World Showcase area is awesome after dark, and that music makes me extra excited about going during the holidays.

Great video! You three look like you are having fun together. I have no idea about what the song is and I’m very impressed with the previous commentors that they might even know! I have used the Unofficial Guide to Disney and TourPlans.com for both of my trips and just LOVE them. I listen to the podcasts along with seeing these videos to get my Disney Fix so this week was great for me!
