Thanks Rick & Andrew! My parents went to Be Our Guest last week, and they can’t stop talking about it! Hmmmm favorite restaurant….I’d have to go with Narcoosee’s…although a close second would be California Grill. Thanks for sharing!

It was truly an amazing experience. The wait was not that long but even while you are waiting you are immersed in the Beast’s castle atmosphere and they keep the line moving quick. I would have to rate California Grill as AWESOME! Love their sushi! Best in the world!

    Hi Jennie,

I love Narcoosee’s, have had some great meals there, and California Grill is probably my favorite restaurant on property, FANTASTIC! I agree with Andrew, best sushi in the world!

    Thanks for watching!

Wow, what a great video! Perfect timing too! We are headed to WDW for New Year’s Eve, leaving the 26th. Your 25 days of Christmas will get me and my family geared up to head down south. We will definately be doing lunch at Be Our Guest, Can’t Wait! The most amazing restaurant would have to be Rose and Crown, a”not miss” every time we are in WDW. Great food, Great beer and Illuminations, what can be better. Take care and thanks for all you do!

We showed up a little after 11am and the wait was just over 20 minutes. The cast members said they open at 10:30am so you might have a shorter wait if you show up around then. By the time we left at around 12:15 the wait looked to be about 40 minutes.

Great video! I can’t wait to eat here!!

Well asking me what my favorite restaurant is probably the most difficult question EVER! It’s a tough decision, but I’m going to have to go with the Chef’s Table at Victoria & Alberts. It was such an incredible experience…can’t wait to do it again one day!

    Hi Sarah,

I understand, there are so many great restaurants to choose from, it’s hard to pick one favorite, okay, but I’ll do it anyway…California Grill!

I do love Victoria & Alberts as well. Have never sat at the Chef’s Table, have heard it’s an amazing experience, okay, add that one to the bucket list!

    Thanks for watching!

Wow those sandwiches are BIG! I hope they have take out boxes. It’s hard to have a favorite restaurant, but I like Flying Fish when I go to WDW. But all the restaurants at WDW make you feel like you are someone.

I’ve never eaten at Flying Fish but Rick and other friends rave about it. I’m sure they have take out boxes for you to eat the rest of your “Pommes Frites” while exploring the rest of the park. They loaded us up with them that’s for sure.

    Hi Sara,

The sandwiches were big! And I’m sure you could get a take out box available 😉

I’m with you, love the Flying Fish, great restaurant! The potato wrapped snapper, and the steak there is fantastic!

    Thanks for watching!

Thanks Rick and Andrew for another great show. My families favorite restaurant is “THE CORAL REEF”. It not a Disney trip if we don’t go there to eat. Yhanks for a great show.

It’s been so long since I’ve eaten there and I remember having an amazing piece of mahi-mahi over a great risotto. It is such a great atmosphere in there too with all the beautiful undersea scenery and even the scuba divers make for a unique experience.

    Hey John,

You know it’s been a really long time since we’ve eaten at Coral Reef, I really think we need to go back there and take our TwR family there for an undersea video dinner…what do you think?

I’ve never heard of that restaurant but I would have to say that my favorite grub place in ATL would have to be the Varsity. Dang, now I’m craving an F.O.

    Hey Rick.
Great video. I will make sure I eat there in 2013. I am looking forward to the 25 day of Christmas. The best restaurant I ate at was the Rainforest Cafe. We eat there every time we go to Disney. See you tomorrow.

P.S Can you do an episode on the new Fast Pass. I don’t understand it.

    Andrew Harris Reply:

Hey Nick, please clarify what you mean by the new Fastpass system. Are you referring to the RFID testing that was happening this past summer or the new restrictions on Fastpass redemption? Thanks

  9. Brother Joseph Rock says:

The most amazing restaurant I have ever been to is the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney in the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. Words can not describe it. I felt so thrilled and relaxed there. Expensive, but just ………! I have been to the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Buena Park, California and it was just wonderful, however the Rainforest Cafe is number 1 in my book.

There is also a fantastic restaurant in Bath, Ohio called Lanings that if you ever come this way I will take you too! We are VERY excited about the 25 days of Christmas and won’t miss a single video! I will be charged up with Disney Dust????
Thanks for the Disney fix today.

  12. Mike and Sue says:

    Rick,

Love your show! Excited to follow along for the month of December. We loved the new Beauty and the Beast restaurant! We were lucky enough to visit twice during our trip in November. We had the pork roast twice because it was so amazing. Also, the seared tuna salad was wonderful and the steak sandwich was very good. We ate in both the main hall and the Beast room. Both were so fun and offered a different dining experience. This restaurant is on my top 5 list now. I really liked that there was a quick service line for lunch that didn’t require a reservation. The staff did a great job! Other restaurants we love from Disney are the San Angel at Epcot and Blue Bayou at Disneyland, CA.

For your question of the week, that would be hard. One family style restaurant that stands out in my mind is the Rainforest Station Outback restaurant in Cairns, Australia. You can have your picture taken holding a real koala bear, enjoy the Aboriginal shows and many interactive activities at the station and have outback BBQ and pavlova for dessert. Very fun!

    Rick Reply:

    Hi Mike and Sue,

Wow, the Rainforest Station sounds really unique! Glad to hear your experience at Be Our Guest. I can’t wait to get back and try the pork roast and the seared tuna, both looked good the day we were there!

You have me curious now, what other restaurants are on your top 5? By the way, I love Blue Bayou in Disneyland too!

    Thanks for watching!

    Hey Rick and Andrew,

Thanks for showing the Be Our Guest Restaurant. It looks like a really great place. I can’t wait to go there.

Most amazing Restaurant: Anderson’s in the Zona Rosa of Mexico City. I ate there in 1980. I don’t know if it is still there. After touring the ruins at Tenochtitlan all day I had to opportunity to eat at this restaurant in the evening. Everything tasted so good! And the fruit juices were so colorful and refreshing.

    See you tomorrow.

    Hi there!

Great episode. I get really excited when I see you are doing a food episode. Can’t wait to visit this restaurant next summer with my children. Watched all of the F&W ep’s and am now looking forward to seeing 25 Days of Christmas. I don’t think I can name my favorite restaurant but had a question… I love sushi and was wondering when you may be doing an episode at Kimono’s?

    Thanks,
    Kristi
