Rick and John Donahue from WDWParkHoppers take you on the high speed ride Test Track – Episode 113

This week I had my good friend John Donahue with me to ride Epcot’s Test Track. This is a great attraction that shows you some of the tests that cars get put through before they are put into production. You’ll also get to experience just how fast these vehicles can go.

Hope you enjoy today’s video, be sure to leave a comment!

Thanks Rick and John for that great video!! Love Test Track, when me and my family were chosen as Family of the Day last year in EPCOT, the Test Track car came and picked us up and we got to ride Test Track three times before anyone else. What a magical moment, I’ll never forget it! Favorite restaurant for me is Le Cellier and for my wife is Teppon Edo! Thanks guys so much, take care and keep those smiles on, their magical!

    Hi Rick and John,
This was fun! When this attraction first opened it was a hit or miss because
it was down many times. The one day we were at Epcot the attraction was down bbut later as we were walking by we saw a very short line and by golly it was opened again! They use to have a ‘test car dummy ” as a mascot but I haven’t seen this guy on other trips. I took a Flat Stanley on this ride and he loved it too!

My husband and I like the fish and chips at the Rose & Crown at the UK.

    Rick,
    Have a wonderful trip!

Love Test Track…..and love it when you have John on your show.
Of all the fantastic guests you bring us, Mr. Donahue’s my favorite.
He just seems like a fun, down to earth guy to hang out around WDW.

I love eating around EPCOT, but my favorite has got to be Tokyo Dining.
The service, food and atmosphere are top notch!!!

Rick, I have finally come to a conclusion after following you for a couple years. No one should be able to have as much fun as you do and get paid for it 🙂
Great video, love this attraction. As a little insider tip that you may or may not know. Current and retired GM employees have a special entrance to this attraction which includes a special lounge area and a backstage entrance through the ride to the cars. It’s really cool.
As for the food, the buffet at the German pavillion is amazing. Amazing food, great beers and awsome entertainment.

That was a great show, but I have to say I like theTest Track Show that you did before since my kids and grandkids were in the video. Having a favorite restaurant at Epcot is tough since there are so many good ones. We love Akershus, but for those of us who aren’t on the dining plan it’s priced a little on the high side because the photo is now included in the price. Did you know if you ask, you can get a greeting card with all the princesses signatures on it? It’s free and good to give for your princesses birthday.

Love Test Track!! Great video, felt like I was right there! Question of the week… I have to say Le Cellier also. It used to be Coral Reef Restaurant at the Living Seas but that kinda went downhill.

Rick, I hope you and your wife have a great trip on the Wonder and at the Dude Ranch!!

    Hi Rick
I really really like Test Track at Epcot. I remember in 2007 I was scared of the semi on the handling test. Eric, my brother, told me where it was. Then in 2009, the first time we rode the attraction. The semi didn’t operate. But I looked back and it operated for the car behind us. Then Eric and I rode it again later in the day and the semi operated for us. Like I said Test Track is a really awsome attraction. I’ve never ate at any of Epcot’s restaurants, so I really don’t have a favorite. Great video this week.

Hey Rick and John, Thanks for showing the Test Track attraction. The first and only time I waited in line to ride the attraction it broke down just I was getting ready to enter the car. I never got to ride it. I have been intending to ride it every time I go back to WDW but never do it. Now that I have seen it I will put it back on my list of things to do on my next trip to WDW.

My favorite restaurant at Epcot is the bakery at the French pavilion.

    See you next week.

    Bob

PS: I hope you and your wife have a great cruise to Alaska.

Another fun video. I have a question for you, Rick. How does Test Track compare to your real race car experience at WDW? I think you went a bit faster than 63mph.
I still wish there was the old World of Motion as well as Test Track. I miss the animatronics. There was always something new to spot. Oh well.
Usually we don’t eat at a full serve resturant at Epcot. I like the Electric Umbrella and even the Land Pavillion’s food court. Fresh as can be because a lot of the food is grown right there. I still want to take in that Food and Wine festival.
