Hey everyone!
Hope you enjoy our trip over to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Absolutely loved visiting and seeing the sites of Hogsmeade and experiencing the attractions there! The Forbidden Journey is like no other attraction I’ve ever seen. You’ve really got to see it for yourself! We were able to film some of the que, but not the actually ride, so we gave you a glimpse and you’ll just have to go see it for yourself!

I do love the Harry Potter series. I am not sure about going to the Universal park. I know it is possible if our children or Grandchildren decide that is the place to go. It is certainly a fine park for the 30’s or younger set.

Thanks Rick! That was a great intoduction to The Wizarding World…and it HAS tempted me to schedule a visit in the near future. Love the Harry Potter series, and while my husband is NOT a big fan, I think this could entice him into going to Universal for a couple of days on our next visit to Orlando.

Great video Rick!
Funny you should show this episode this week as my wife and I were just discussing a trip to Universal Studios Orlando to visit this attraction. I’m not a big Harry Potter fan, but my wife has read all the books and seen all the movies so she is really wanting to see all that this attraction has to offer. We’re hoping for a September trip. I hope Mickey and Minnie and friends don’t find out we’re in the area and not visiting them..haha!

Thanks RicK! We visited Universal Studios while we were in town for the Disney Marathon Weekend and I let my boys decide which park to go to because we only had about half a day. They chose Universal Studios, I was hoping for The Islands of Adventure, but oh well, as long as I’m with them I’m good. I was not impressed! I knew we should have gone to Islands of Adventure, the theming you just showed was fantastic, maybe we can go there on a future trip. Take care my friend and keep smiling buddy!

No need to try and peek my interests. Love Harry Potter and have been excited about the park. I will definitely try and make plans to visit
Thanks,

Great job Rick! This REALLY makes me ant to visit this park now. Love the creativity of all the Harry Potter books and films so this is just icing on the cake. So if you know, how do they make butter beer at the park? What’s in it? : )

Hi Rick,
Thanks for the video. When we were at DW in Dec. I thought my husband
would want to take a day and go to see this new attraction. He has read
all of the Potter books and has seen the movies but he wasn’t interested
in seeing it then. Maybe that darn cold weather we experienced while there
dampered his desire. Now just recently we have been seeing tv commercials
about Universal so that just might get him interested again.
Like another poster if I’m in Orlando DW is where I’ll be.
Have a Happy Easter!

My niece & I went last October – although it was hard to break away from WDW we found we really enjoyed all ‘Harry Potter’ had to offer, especially the Butter Beer. We never left that area as there was so much to see and felt we got our moneys worth. I think several trips throughout the area are necessary to take it all in – the ride, well I LOVE rides, but this one .. hummm did NOT see too many people who got off smiling and saying lets go again! Word of warning if you don’t have shoes that tie on or buckle – you could loose them – I didn’t but had them stuffed behind me and it was a chore keeping them there 😉 Great tour of Wizarding World Rick, thanks so much.

Hey Rick,
Thanks so much for showing the video of Hogwarts at Universal Orlando. What you showed in the video is the most detailed that I have seen of the attraction. YES! You peeked my interest in going to Universal. I have dreamed of a future trip to Orlando and spending at least one day at Universal. But now after seeing you video I think I will have to spend at least two days at Universal.
I take care of man with Down’s syndrome. He loves Harry Potter. I would love to be able to bring him to Orlando to see Disney World and Universal.
See you next week,
Bob

I’ve long been a Disneyland fan, but I’ve never really had a desire to go to Florida. When Epcot came along I thought that if I ever had the chance to get over to that side of the country, then yea, I’ld like to see Disney World. But now that there is also Harry Potter, I just might have to breakdown and plan a trip to Florida soon to see everything I’ve been missing all these years.

The theme of Hogwarts looks amazing. I have not read any of the Harry Potter books and really don’t have a desire to, but you have peeked my interest in seeing this some day (when it doesn’t interfere with my WDW time! LOL!)
Keep up the great work! Love seeing things that I normally don’t take the time to visit when in Orlando.

Hi Rick. The themeing of the land was really awsome. I have been to Universal Studio Island of Adventure in 2008. The Harry Potter land didn’t exist. I am courise of the land. I’d like to see what the land has to offer. Overall I’m not exited because I’m not a big Harry Potter fan.

Great show!
My wife and I had never considered visiting Universal aka “the Dark Side” until the Wizarding World.
As it happens, we were doing our annual visit to WDW just a month after it opened, and we decided to head over to Islands of Adventure for a day.
With it being so new, it was completely and totally packed.
So I really appreciated seeing your video of some parts of the Wiazarding World that I couldn’t get close to when I was there. The Wand shop looks very cool!
Despite the crowds, I was able to ride the Forbidden Journey twice.
And as a Disney guy through and through, it pains me to say.
“That is, BY FAR, the most amazing ride I’ve ever been on!!!!”
Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE!!! Nothing is close!
It was worth the transportation costs and price of admission by itself.

Great video once again Rick. Love your variety. Especially love Disneyworld vidoes, my favorite place. My wife & I one day hope to visit Wizarding World of Harry Potter. She’s a big fan of the movies. Looks like a fun place.

Love the video. So many details.
My family always plans at least one day at Universal, and then Islands of Adventure when that opened. One or two days out of the WDW trip isn’t too much. I love movies and I really feel IN the movies at The Universal parks. I’ve read most of the Harry Potter books, and have seen almost all of the movies, so I am excited to go back and ride the movie. My interest was peeked the moment I heard they were thinking about making the park within the park. I can’t wait to see it.
And enjoying the Universal parks in no way takes away from my loving the Disney parks. It’s like a fine seasoning added to the Disney main meal. And we always stay at a Disney resort.
Wow, I so want to be there. Can one of those wands magically teleport me there?

Great video. Yes, I would absolutely love to see the new Harry Potter attraction. We do from time to time do a Universal/Seaworld trip instead of Disney! Last time we were at Universal was with Tropical Storm Fay, and they were still building Harry Potter, everything was walled off, incl. Dueling Dragons.
I’ve seen all the Harry Potter movies with my daughters, (now in early 20’s) it’s become a tradition that we go together.
I look forward to going to see it.
