Great episode!!! I would love to try dog sledding. Also snow tubing and tobogganing are fun. Other than that I like to stay inside where its warm. Also going to the spa would be nice. And eating a nice sit down meal is always relaxing.
    Have fun in Hawaii.

I have never been out west and it looked lovely and very exciting. My favorite thing to do in the winter is to escape to someplace warmer than the midwest – preferably Disney World! But, we alway spend a winter weekend cabin camping at a local state park where we are sure to do winter hiking and watching the wildlife. I do think a trip out west will be in my future, though. Thanks for sharing this adventure.

    Hey Rick.
Did you have fun on your snowy trip? Did you see enough snow? I would love go on a trip like this. Snowmobiling looks fun. I would try it. Do you ned special permission? I wouldn’t mind going dog sleding either. I really don’t like winter so I don’t have a favorite sport. I never did a sport other that sleding when I was a boy. It was fun. See you next week.

My family spent a lot of time in Colorado, my mom was from there. We would go to ski and sled all the things you did, kinda made me homesick. I’m not much on any of those things I did like to go swim in the bubbled and heated pool or sit and look at the scenery and people watch. Thanks for sharing

My boys are rotten, they like to spent their spring breaks on Disney cruise ships, I’ll get them in the snow soon! I think I’ll go to Jackson Hole, just like y’all, looked super AWESOME! I just love living through you, I LOVE to travel and would LOVE to be on the Wonder with y’all, have an AWESOME time and make some more memories with your sweet bride and family. That’s what life is all about! Y’all ROCK, keep smilin’ my friends!

Burrrrr What a super episode! Really set the atmosphere with that crackeling fireplace. Leslie is just a doll! It’s so nice to see her watching you and you watching her. Dog sledding and all the snow activities were a blast!! My favorite snow activity?? Sitting indoors with a hot cup of cocoa and watch the snow fall around the streetlights!! LOL
    Take care

Hey Rick and Leslie, Thanks for the wonderful video. I don’t like being cold but after watching your video I think I would like to spend a week at the Brooks Lake Lodge and do some of the things that you did in your video.

My favorite winter time activity is dreaming of going someplace warmer–Florida, Hawaii, and Mexico.

I hope you have fun on your trip to Hawaii.

    See you next week.

That must have been a blast being out there all by yourselves. Impressed with the low occupancy of the lodge. Must allow for a lot of one on one time with the staff. I guess you got the only answer from a group of Disney enthusiast who spend their time in southern Florida and California. We want out of the cold and into some place warm. Great video!

Living in the Northeast I’ve had enough cold. But it is fun to see the bobsled and dog sled from a first hand perspective like that. It’s better than freezing for me.
Now I need to see some Hawaii.
    See you on video soo,
