Thanks, Rick! My favorite thing about Animal Kingdom is the way it makes me FEEL! I feel like I’m being transported all over the world! My favorite experience is Festival of The Lion King. Thank you for sharing!

Great video, I LOVE AK, Tough to be a Bug and the Safari, are my favorites, the Tree of Life itself, is one of my favorite things about the park.I could spend an hour just examining the different animals on it and the detail.

That was a neat episode! Looked like such a fun celebration!! Still can’t believe Animal Kingdom is 15 years old! I remember when it opened I was 5 years old and it’s neat to see it grow and change over the years.

  4. That was cool, thank you.
I have only been to Animal Kingdom once. It was a very cold day and the things I remember are the Safari and the Lion King. That is all that was there at that time. I am so greatful to now have the operatunity to see all that it has to offer now that I will be living so close that I can go ALL THE TIME.

My favorite thing about Animal Kingdom is probably Expedition Everest. My favorite memory is when my husband&I got our free D.V.C. van ride there after getting the D.V.C. We got there w/about 5minutes to spare, ran through the park to Expedition Everest w/our D.V.C. bag and bags I had brought w/a dress, shawl, and shoes for dinner at Bistro de Paris soon after. We also had our wedding ear hats on as we had gotten married in Disney 5days beforehand and were on our Disneymoon.

Thanks for another great video! I just love Animal Kingdom. My favorite Animal Kingdom memory is less than a week old. We saw The Flights of Wonder show for the first time and loved it! I was also intrigued by the moving mouths and blinking eyes of the Characters. Very Cool! And how old is the VP? He looks like a baby!
Thanks again for my Disney Fix! I am in withdrawals and this helped. I was great to meet you!

    Hey Rick,

Thanks for showing the video. Watching the cast members, singer and dancers really got me excited. I can’t wait to go back to Disney World when ever that is. The Animal Kingdom theme park has a lot of firsts for me. On my first trip to Disney World in 2004, it was the first theme park that I visited on the first day of my trip. The Animal Kingdom is my favorite Disney theme park. And my favorite thing about the Animal Kingdom is everything! Walking through the entrance makes me feel that I am in a jungle. The villages in the park make me feel that I am in Africa, Asia, or where ever. My favorite rides/attractions are Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expeidition Everest, Kali River Rapids, and The Lion King.

    See you next time.

    Bob

Gee, that was terrific!! Perfect show to end my day. What a wonderful place to be on Earth Day, too. Boy, that Circle of Life song really is powerful.
Thanks for the mid-week treat!! You ROCK!!

Wow…it’s been 15 years already? I was there when the park first opened and still enjoy it every trip. Love the Safari and Gorilla Trail but mostly having ben there twice a year for the past 15 years, we just enjoy walking around this park. I wish more people could experiance this place and understand what it’s all about.

Oh no!! they got rid of the Yeti? I didnt know that. Has that been lately that they did that? My favorite is Everest and its kind of mean but my favorite memory is it getting stuck at the highest point. We were in the front seat and my wife doesnt like heights. We sat there for about 4-5 minutes then they told us that they were sending CMs to get us off. We had to get out of the seats which were leaning backwards and walk all the way down. Let me tell you its a long walk from the top to the bottom, but we did get to see the inside of the ride witch was every neat to me. BRING BACK THE YETI!!!!

    Hey Rick,
Wow 15 year of Animal Kingdom. I have so many memories that this will become a long comment. My favorite ride is Expedition Everest. And about the Yeti… Come on Disney, lets fix the Yeti on Epedition Everest. Not digging the strobe lights.

I cannot believe its already been 15 years. I love the Animal Kingdom . There are surprises every time we go to the park. One of my fondest memories is my husband and myself needed a break from the hot Florida sun . We followed a crowd, and ended up seeing the Lion King Show . We kept commenting to each other after the show just how magical it was that we “found” the show just by following a crowd to get out of the heat.
