my favorite ride at Disney is the monorail. I always like riding it for a chance of seeing more of the park area between Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Great show see you next week

Happy Early Birthday! What a great way to celebrate with the opening of the Food and Wine Festival, great memories there! Great video, CM’s like Steve, who’s been there so long and love their job and Disney, make your time in the greatest place on Earth so enjoyable! I love to be on the water, in one of the small Disney boats on the way back to the Polynesian at night, maybe catching Wishes as we travel across The Seven Seas Lagoon, or going to the MK before rope drop and the anticipation and excitement the day has to offer! Good luck on your first Disney race, I to will be doing my first Disney race in January, the marathon, can’t wait! When you cross the finish line, smile big for your accomplishment, you earned it! Have fun!

Happy almost Birthday Rick! Good luck on that 5 K run. I used to jog but I kept spilling my beer so I quit. Awesome video! I Love Disney history. If and when I ever get to Disneyland, I absolutely HAVE to ride that fire truck. It’s a piece of history. I can just picture Walt himself driving down main street, keeping an eye on things and making sure everything was perfect for his guests. Tough question of the week. Of course I Love riding the monorail a LOT. I really like the ride from The Ticket and Transportation Center to Epcot. HOWEVER, nothing beats taking the Friendships from Epcot’s International Gateway to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s such a cool, relaxing ride that my wife and I really look forward to ever trip. Sometimes we get off at differant stops to visit the differant Resorts as well. So I guess, for me it’s tie between the Friendships and the Monorail. Have a great trip next week! I’ll be there for the last 2 days of the Food and Wine Festival..can’t wait! Scºoºtt

I like the Monorail at WDW. It’s the first and the last thing I do when I’m there.

That was a great video! Just love the cast members. They are so much a part of Disney. We would love to ride the firetruck if & when we get to Disneyland.
There are so many kinds of rides to choose from! We enjoy them all, but I am partial to the boat ride from Fort Wilderness to Magic Kingdom. My wife likes them all too but is partial to the horse drawn trolley in the Magic Kingdom.
Have a great birthday. I know you will at Disney World!!

Good look at Main Street. Would have wanted to stop for the banjos.
Favorite ride the Monorail – and seems others like it best too.

Make sure you wear a Happy Birthday Button! When we were at the Poly in 2007 we would take the boat from the Poly dock over to the Magic Kingdom. It created some of the best memories our family has of our 2 Disney trips. Funny how something out of the parks can do that.
Happy Birthday!

Loved the Fire Truck!
Have a fun birthday Rick!
I love all of Disney’s transportation.
Boats, buses, Monorails. They’re a major reason I love Disney World so much! I’ve only rented a car one time. That was the first time I visited back in 1991. And I’ve never considered doing it again.
The whole transportion experience is Magical to me. Even waiting at the bus stops. I’m a people watcher……and Disney transportation is perfect for that.
My favorite form of Disney transportation has got to be the Magical Express bus that brings me from the Orlando airport to WDW. What could be better than riding into the World knowing I’ve got a full vacation in front of me?
My least favorite? Obviously, the Magical Express ride back to the airport.
But it’s not that bad……because I always know I’ll be coming back.

WOW 36 years working at one job, that is almost unheard of anymore. Love the Fire Engine. The Cast Members are always so friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs.
I love the Monorail and the Boats because you can see things so differently from each. Great video. Happy Early Birthday and Good Luck on the 5K run. See ya next week.

Just recently discovered your site and really look forward to seeing your name in the in box. You really give us the insite and detail we need to see. We are Disney World freaks as you obviously are. There is nothing like leaving New England in the dead of winter and spending a week in that magical place. We will be planning a Jan- Feb trip soon and would like some info about the Pirate Adventure Cruises. Seems to be limited info in the Guides and Sites. Have you ever done a video? Will you be doing one soon? This is for our 6 year old Pirates of the Caribbean obsessed grandson.
I will contact Kingdom Magic when we have dates. Thanks for all you do.

Happy Birthday, Rick!
Love the ride in this video. My family has made it a point to try to ride every available means of transportation in WDW at least once. We first rode on a horse drawn vehicle up Main St. to start our very first Disney trip. We loved it. The drivers are fun and very knowledgeable on all the vehicles.
Favorite? Well if the monorail went everywhere I’d take it. It’s fast. I’d love to see it extended to all the parks and resorts, since it looks like my dream of a monorail for the Orlando Airport to WDW won’t be happening.

Any of the Boats at WDW! When you take a boat you have to slow down. The boats also give you a different veiw of everything around you!

Hi Rick,
I hope you have a wonderful birthday celebration and good luck on the 5K run!
At WDW the monorail is my favorite mode of transportation. I love going at night on the monorail during the Christmas season!
At DL my favorite ride would be the train because it takes you all over
the park and you see so much more then at DW. When I was out there I didn’t ride the fire truck but if I had known Walt had used the truck I would have gone on a ride for sure!
Again,
Happy Birthday ( my big day is October 3)

Happy Birthday Rick! That looks like a nostalgic ride–the fire truck at Disneyland. Rick, I like all the transportation rides at the Disney Parks–even the tram that take me to the parking lot. I like riding the boats, trains, and momorail. I like it all. I am overdue for a trip to WDW or DL.
Rick, your videos are like oxygen to me! They are always something to look forward to.

Happy Birthday Rick! Hope you have an awesome run. I can’t be there, but I do have some friends running in the race Saturday evening. I’ll tell them to wave! One of these days I hope to see you in the park.
My absolute favorite mode of transportation in the part is the Monorail, especially the route that travels thru Epcot between Future World and World Showcase.
Good luck in the race and I can’t wait till next week.

Hey Rick
Great vidoe. I just love disney cast members. They are so friendly and help, you out. The fire truck is a piece of history that should never stop. Especially when Disney used to drive it. My favorite mode of transportation is the Monorail. I like it because, I like the view from the top of the beam. My favorite part of the monorail is when the train goes in Epcot and you see the park from the train. And when you are on board you go fast. You don’t have to worry about the road rules. It’s almost like a non stop trip to your destination.

Happy Birthday Rick!
I agree with Penny. The Magical Express bus that picks us up from the airport. Also we always start and end with the Disney Railway once around the park to start and once to end our day.

What I liked and miss are the bucket rides over Magic Kingdom in Orlando.
