I love these type of roller coasters. My mom and I would ride a coaster like this together here in Texas when I was a kid. I will be sharing this one with my son on our next trip to WDW. Let’s see my favorite coaster would have to be Thunder Mountain of course not to big not to small. Thanks for the videos Rick I look forward to them each week.

Thanks Rick! My kids are all grown up, but maybe someday I will have grandkids to take on Goofy’s coaster! 🙂
My favorite rollercoaster at disney is Rockin’ Rollercoaster. I’m looking forward to riding EE this trip tho. It wasn’t quite done the last time we were there. Should be fun!

hiya Rick!
Great Video! I’m still trying to persuade my mom to do the barnstormer when we go to disney. She says that its not made for “big people”!
My favorite roller coaster is Expedition Everest. To bad I’m the only one who absolutely LOVES rollercoasters!

You know, just watching this reminded me of the first coasters I took my kids on….I think I did it reverse order because their 1sts were either Big Thunder or Space Mountain! Kind of threw them into the “deep end of the pool” I guess!!
They all loved this coaster though…and honestly, it was more my husband’s speed!! This coaster reminds me of the coaster that Sesame Place here in PA built not too many years ago. My oldest works there now….and he still will jump on it after his shift! I have to say though – he always comments on it “It’s not Disney!”

What a cute little rollercoaster! Thanks for the video Rick. Can’t wait till I have grandchildren so I can take them on this ride. My favorite rollercoaster at WDW has to be Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It’s the wildest ride in the Wilderness so hang onto your hats and glasses!

Thanks Rick! My 4 year old jumped straight to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but I think we will have to check out Goofy’s Barnstormer in September. My favorite rollercoaster is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Keep on smiling my friend!

Enjoyed the show. Never had the chance to do this ride but will do it next time. The roller coaster that my daughter and myself like are Big Thunder Railroad and Space Mountain. But one we must try is Rock and Roller Coaster. Can’t wait for next weeks show.

This is such a great little rollercoaster – this is the one that got my son over the fear of coasters when he was 12….. His step-dad rode this one with him – he’s 6′-2″ and it was fine for “big-people” too!
I finally got over my fear of coasters last year when I conquered the 3 biggies; Space Mountain, Expedition Everest & Rock-N-Roller Coaster. I still have to say tho – my all time favorite is Big Thunder Mountain @ night! It is awesone!
Keep up the great work – can’t wait to see the Bay Lake Towers!

Rick,
Thanks for another great video. Haven’t ridden The Barnstormer for a while, but always enjoy it.
My favorite coaster at Walt Disney World is Expedition Everest. Am anxious to see the Yeti in full operation again!
Have fun at Bay Lake Towers. Can’t wait to see it!!

We rode this last December and it was a great intro to roller coasters for my daughter. She wouldn’t ride many thrill rides, but she did this one and it gave her the courage to try Big Thunder which she also enjoyed. She wouldn’t try Splash or Space Mountain but she also did Test Track. Goofy’s Barnstormer was a great ride though. My favorite was Space Mountain. I’m not that big of a roller coaster nut.

I’m noty big on coasters…G Force makes me a bit ill…but I did enjoy The barnstormer. It was especially nice at night, without the dfistraction of surrounding attractions.
My favorite coaster…so far…in WDW is Big Thunder Mountain. Disney coasters are the best because of the themeing andf atmosphere. It’s more of an experience than just a ride.
I haven’t been on Everest, but I am considering it, but not Rock n Roller coaster. I don’t do flips. LOL

Seeing the Barmstomer brings back many memories of our last trip to Disney I have two favorite coaster rides
Expedition Everest and Space Mountain looking forward to our trip in Oct. and as always we look forward to your shows.

Hi Rick!
Great video again!
Yes, I thought it was only for little ones but I’m glad I’m wrong. We will certainly go on this during our next vacation which is only 15 days away.
I wish you were going to be at BLT a little longer because we will be at the Contemporary August 15th and we would try and catch up to you and buy you a Dole Whip Float.
Have a great trip and thanks for a great site!
P.S. could you please check out the pool/water area for me, We hope it is done! and can the non-BLT guests use their new pool too?

Hi Rick. Thank you for sharing this video. We went on this roller coaster as a family last year. It was a lot of fun.!! Thanks again.

Absolutely love the Rock’n Roller coaster. The start from 0 to fast is the best. I am a HUGE music fan and only Disney can wrangle Aerosmith for the pre ride stuff. Thanks Rick!!!

Hi Rick,
My favorite roller coaster is Rock’n Roller Coaster. I was always too scared to go on it. But we were in Disney at Christmas time and our 9 year old daughter wanted to go on. So…my daughter, my husband and I went, it was the first time for all of us. We’re going back Nov 1st and can’t wait to go again! Thanks for all the shows!

Hi Rick,
My favorite coaster has to be Big Thunder Mountain because it’s the wildest ride in the wilderness.
Thanks for the great vidoes each week.

Hi Rick, good show this week glad to know your 16 year old still knows how to be a kid.
I love Space Mountain. So much so I am a little afraid the remodel will change my opinion of it. I loved the quirky 70s flavor of it. I know that will be gone for sure but lets hope it is just as fantastic but in a different way when it reopens.

Rick:
Great video, My favorite coaster at Disney is the drink coaster (ha ha). Keep up the good work!!!!

Hi Rick,
Ah! Goofy’s Barnstormer…My son’s first roller coaster at the tender age of 3 1/2. Since that time, a period of 4 years, he has mastered all the WDW roller coasters with Space Mountain being his favorite. Rode it 6 times on the last trip before it was taken down for its refurbishment. My favorite coaster has to be Rock’n Roll Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith. Speed, inversions, and hearing “Dude Looks Like a Lady” blasting in my head is awesome. Have a great trip!

Hey, Rick! You know, we rode this for the first time a year and a half ago. Our trip was for my son’s 16th birthday and we just thought it would be funny to ride it. So my poor hubby was hoping for a break because his feet were killing him and so I took the 16 year old and the 8 year old on it. Well, there was no line and it’s really short so poor Frank had about 4 minutes reprieve before we were up and running again! Great coaster though. A lot of fun!

Oh, yeah, and my favorite, absolute FAVORITE coaster at WDW is Expedition Everest. Last trip we really timed it just right and rode it four times in a row without waiting! Each time we laugh until we cry. Have a great week!

HI Rick, I’m looking at taking my Son over to the world in the near future so this vid has given me a nice idea of which coaster to take him on for his first experience 🙂 Personally my favorite coaster has got to be Big Thunder Mountain! its not the fastest out there but its a classic!
Take it easy and keep doing what you are doing.

Hi Rick what a cute coaster. I don’t know why we never went on it. Maybe because the first time we took our kids to Disney they were older 7 and 13 they wanted to ride the big coasters. As for favorite coaster hands down it has to be Thunder Mountain I usually don’t like coasters but I just love love love this coaster. It is just a great thrill ride. One of Disneys best !!!!

Great video Rick. I have never ridden Goofeys Barnstormer. I seems like a fun ride. I take care of a man with Downs Syndrome. I dream of taking him to WDW. Watching your video made me think that he would enjoy a ride like that. My favorite coaster ride at WDW is Expedition Everest. I do admit, the older I get the harder it is for my body to handle rides like that.
[Reply]
Thanks Rick! Brought back some awesome memories of riding this with my now 6 year old when she was 3 and seeing her face. This is a good coaster for those that are not thrill seekers but enjoy doing something different.
To be honest, I have never enjoyed coasters but Disney makes them where everyone can enjoy them. I enjoy them all. My favorite to ride is Thunder Mountain Railroad. My favorite surprise was Rockin roller coaster that my oldest daughter LIED to me to get me on it but I have to say I did not stay mad long. She knew I would never ride it if I knew it went upside down…funny enough I ignored the upside down car when you walk into the area before the coaster…hahaha….but that ride is AWESOME!! I encourage even the scaredy cats, like me, to try it because you may find you enjoy it.

The numbers may have been lower last week because the link did not work. I had to go watch the video at your main site, but could not leave a comment there.
With a back injury I cannot ride the coasters, but my favorite to set and watch is Big Thunder Mountain.

My favorite coaster is Expedition Everest. I think it is the smoothest coaster they have so far. I love when the roller coaster goes backwards! Thanks, Rick.

Another great but short video this week. My daughter and I rode this ride last June for the first time since we rode it during our very first trip in 2002, and I have a question. I swear when we rode it in 2002 we went around twice. Has the ride ever been longer?
As for our favorite coaster my daughter and I have the same answer to this weeks question. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Can’t wait to see the video from Bay Lake Towers

Really enjoyed seeing the Barnstormer! We will have to try it the next time.
Our favorite coaster is Big Thunder. There are just so many things to see when you are on the ride, but we seem to miss a lot of them when we are on it.
Just a great ride. Have fun at Bay Lake Towers! Can’t wait to see it.

What a great first time roller coaster. I have never been on it because I don’t have little ones but you have shown me the error of my thinking. I will be going on it on my next trip in Sept. My favorite coaster is now EE with RRC a very close second. Can’t wait for your next video. Bay Lake should be a terrific video. We will be stopping in to see the lobby etc. on our next trip. Thanks again for the Disney dosage.

Never been on this roller coaster but it looks like a great one to start kids out on. I haven’t rode many coasters the last few years because I have had back problems and had a back fusion a year ago. Hopefully I will be able to ride coasters again when the doctor gives his ok. Keep up the great videos, it helps me decide if I will ride them or not.

Love the video. I always love riding Goofy’s Barnstormer with my kids every trip. This was the first video I have seen from you and I can’t wait to go back and watch the others. Thanks for putting these together. Brings back great memories and helps the time pass until the next ones are created.

Thanks for the video!
