Loved the video! While I, too, love the thrill rides I am also a big kid at heart and love all of the Fantasyland attractions!
People watching….Gee, I don’t know that I have a favorite as I do that EVERYWHERE! If I had to choose, I guess it would be at Magic Kingdom where I get to occasionaly catch a little girl meeting princess! Brings back such good memories of when my 17 year old “baby” was meeting her first princesses when she was 3! 47 days till I’m back for more “magic”!

Hi Rick. Thanks for the video. My favorito place to people watch is at Casey,s corner eating as snack of corn dogs and just watching everyone going by.

My favorite place to people watch is on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood Studios. You can not only people watch, but also see many of the funny and talented actors/actresses put on a show. Thanks for another great episode!

We missed Pooh Bear during our last trip so it was great to ride it with you! I think my favorite place to people watch is in Fantasyland right in front of Mrs. Potts (I think) I grab some kind of ice cream treat and watch all of the cute children in their Crocs and princess dresses. Disney World is the best people watching venue ever!!! In 36 days we will be there!
Thans again for another great video!

Love the videos too.
My place for serious people watching is when you find a spot to wait for the parades to begin. People watching makes the time seem short.

Hi Rick! Loved the video of Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Always enjoy riding it–it’s just a classic!
Like you, my favorite place to people watch is in World Showcase at EPCOT. I try to find a shady spot somewhere near Morocco (waiting for Jasmine and Aladdin) or Germany (waiting for Snow White). There are so many good spots in EPCOT that it’s hard to pick just one.

I haven’t been on this ride the past couple of trips….the lines are so long and like you, having teenagers (and being the biggest kid of all!) I love the crazy rides! Maybe in Sept, we’ll have to give this another go ’round.
I like to people watch as I am sitting waiting for the parades to start. Stake out my place early, grab a Mickey bar and just watch….you can see some of the most interesting things!!

I LOVED Pooh! A girl-friend of mine & I used to loved to ride that one together – she is a huge Eeyore fan I’m a Pooh fan! Of course our hubby’s would try to pretend we didn’t belong to them when we exited the ride – we’d be bouncing like Tigger! Nothing like WDW to be a kid again!
I have so many “people-watching” spots in all of the parks. I have to say my favorite is at the Fountain View Bakery overlooking the dancing fountain. Just watching the looks on everyone’s faces when they realize it isn’t just a fountain, but is part of a musical welcome into EPCOT, brings a grin to my face. This is a fabulous spot early in the morning and even more beautiful in the evening with all the lights!
Can’t wait to see next weeks episode – hopefully from the park…….it is just like being there! You have the most fabulous job!

Thanks for the Pooh video. We ride it every trip even though we are empty nesters and don’t travel with kids. It’s just a fun one to do and be a kid.

Thanks for this video Rick. I can’t wait to show it too my wife. The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh is her absolute favorite attraction. Me…well…not so much, but I enjoy riding it with her so I can watch her change from a serious grown up, to a smiling, giggling, happy child.
Favorite place to rest/people watch? Hmmm…good question. My wife and I like to stop right outside of the China pavillion at Epcots World Showcase. We buy a Strawberry Oolong Tea slushie from the Tea kiosk and sit on a bench and share it and watch as all the people go by us. We’ll be there in in September!
Can’t wait!

Thanks Rick for another great video! I preferred Mr. Toad’s Wide Ride, but I put WDW first and support their decisions. My boys are 6 and 4 and love Winnie the Pooh, so if they love it, so do I! I love to take a break near Main Street USA and watch the magic of children and adults as they enter the most magical place on earth! I am looking forward to next weeks show, oh what will he do next. Smile my friend!

Great video this week! I remember taking my son on Pooh’s ride when we were there last. He was only 4 then, and was a little scared, but quickly fell in love with it, which of course means we rode it multiple times!
My favorite place to people watch is in Adventureland near the Dole Whip! Kill 2 birds with one stone! I love to watch people and eating a Dole Whip makes it double fun!

I just asked my daughter the other day if we could do one of the rides in Fantasyland that we haven’t done since was a kid on our next trip in August so it was very nice seeing The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I think we might do Snow White’s Scary Adventure since we haven’t been on that ride since 2002 during our very first trip when my daughter was 7.
Toward the end of every trip, usually the night before the day we check out we like to walk down one of the paths on the side of Cinderella’s Castle and sit on one of the benches (we turn it to face the castle) and we watch the colors change on the castle and sometime SpectroMagic is going by so we can listen to that at the same time. Not really people watching but it’s still our nice place to relax and take in Disney.
Can’t wait for the live version of Travel with Rich next week.

First of all, after watching all the Travels with Rick videos, I realized that you really should update your photo on KingdomMagic. It just doesn’t do you justice.
I’m one of those people who wanted Toad to stay. I’m not a big Pooh fan, and even though I have seen several videos of the ride I’m still not positive I have actually ever rode the ride. I guess I’ll have to be sure to ride it next trip just to be sure I have. 🙂
Favorite people watching spot? Probably in the Caribbean Plaza in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom. I love to hear the Steel Drum music and the Pirate sounds, and even those crazy wooden gong type statues nearby.
I’d love to see a live broadcast. Hope I can.

Thanks for posting this. I haven’t been to Disney World in many years, we’re going soon, though. When we were in Disneyland, the Pooh ride was one of my son’s favorites, and I know he’s looking forward to this. He’s a huge Tigger & Pooh fan.

Looking forward to next week

Hi Rick!
Another FANTASTIC video! My family missed the ride when we went last time. it was nice to see it here. My favorite place to people watch is over in Main Street USA. Theres a little nook over by Casey’s that has a good view of people coming into the park. Last time we went there, it was Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloweem Party. It was so fun watching the little kids come in with there costumes on!

First time watcher. Love the video. Very well done. I would have to say my favorite place to people watch at Disney World would have to be at the tables in front of the Rose and Crown while enjoying a Guiness. Nothing like relaxing in the World Showcase and watching the people go by.

Hi Rick! I just discovered your site, so the Winnie the Pooh Episode is my first one! I can’t wait to go back and watch all the others! I’m so glad you are doing this, so that all of us Disney-fans have a way to get a “fix” in between trips! I love all the disney rides, from the thrill rides, to the classics!!
On our last trip, we enjoyed people watching at the Magic Kingdom, beside the Partners statue. We were out of the way of the photographers, but were still able to see people getting their pictures taken, and see all of the fun creative picture ideas that people had! It was also great being right there in front of the Castle!
I can’t wait to see the next episode!! I will continue to watch and also to provide comments (aka “oxygen”!!) 🙂

I love Winnie the Pooh. Piglet is my favorite. I love to sit by the entrance to the Magic Kingdom and look for people who are seeing it for the first time. I especially like to watch when they see the castle for the first time, it reminds me of when my daughter and I saw it for the first time. We both cried like babies… Thanks for the videos Rick and all the info you share with us on Twitter and Facebook..

Great video!! My family and I love this attraction. My toddler just watched it with me and was amazed!
My favorite place to people watch is on bench near Cinderella’s golden carousel. It’s fun watching the kids try to pull the sword out of the stone and also watching many parents and grandparents riding on the carousel with their children (or grandchildren).
Look forward to seeing next week’s show

Thanks for thr video. Never been on Winnie the pooh. We’ll have to catch that ride at Disneyland next tuesday. My favorite place to watch people in on main st. I love watching all the kids. They have big smiles on their faces and they say the cutes things.

Another great memory. I’ve only been through Pooh once, back when my son was young enough to enjoy it (he’s a teenager now and “too old” for such things; I give it a couple of years before he starts asking when we’re going back to WDW). I was always a Mr.Toad fan, though.
Like a couple of others have said, my favorite people-watching spot is the area near Casey’s. It’s a kick watching the excitement of the kids as they head towards the castle.
Have a good trip next week. Looking forward to the live show!

Great video Rick! My favorite place to take a break at WDW—for me it is at the Animal Kingdom. When you first enter the park and are walking through the Oasis Exhibits it feels like you are in the middle of a jungle. I enjoy being there and watching the birds, ducks, and other animals. Another place that I like at the Animal Kingdom is the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail. I love to be in the middle of a jungle and look at the forest and the animals. And the third place I like to take a break is anywhere at WDW when I see young children coming alive and so excited because of something they have just seen or experienced.

Hi Rick sweet video I also don’t go on the kids rides anymore the kids are grown. I’m shocked your daughter wanted to go my daughter 14yrs won’t ! I hav’nt been on Dumbo for about 4 or 5 yrs( boo hoo hoo)I love Dumbo! As for people watching I don’t have a favorite place(I love to people watch!) you see my family dos’nt let me stop alot because they are comando tourists and I only get to people watch when I say I have to stop to rest alittle. I milk it alittle longer to get some people watching in !!!

Hi Rick,
We go on the Pooh ride every time because my sister’s favorite character is Pooh! Her 4yr old son loves it too. Great job on the video. My favorite people watching place is either by City Hall on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom or on the other side by Tony’s Town Square. I love to watch peoples first reaction to Magic Kingdom.

Another great video Rick. It was nice to see a ride I have never been on. We have older boys & even with 6 trips we have never been on Pooh. Maybe when my husband & I go next year for our anniv.
The best place I like to people watch is sitting on the sidewalk on Main St. waiting for Spectro & just watch the people walking down Main Street. Of course I’m usually eating an ice cream from the ice cream parlor at the same time!!

Hi Rick,
I still love the classics. I like to sit in the rocking chairs at the front of MK and watch the people coming in to the park.

Cool! This was the first time to see your site and since I am a Disneyaholic I’ll be back for more. Thanks

Another well-made video, Rick — thanks! My kids loved Winnie The Pooh when they rode the ride but thought it went too fast, so it’s great to be able to watch your video just to be able to slow down and take it all in. Thanks!
Sitting around the fountains at Epcot’s Innoventions is a great place to see essentially *everyone* coming and going at Epcot. Of course, wandering Main Street at MK is also a standard place, but actually hanging out by Crystal Palace and the paths in that area by Adventureland is a less crowded place to find lots of places to sit and people-watch (and fairly quiet).
Can’t wait for the next video!

We too are not that into Winnie the Pooh, but we went on it the last time we were there with our grand daughter & she loved it. So of course, we did too.
We have so many places that we people watch. Like a lot of people, we go to Adventureland around the pirates or the Dole whip. We also like to go to Columbia Harbor House & go upstairs with our drink & watch people from the windows. They walk right under you. It’s also a very nice & cool (airconditioned) place to rest.

my favorite place to take a break and watch the world is at the fountains at Epcot. enjoy the show very much. thanks once again john
