Thanks so much Rick, they are awesome on the video, even more awesome in person! Building gingerbread houses is hard, we had to make one for my son’s class, it kept slumping, and a wall would come crashing down, nothing a TON of icing won’t fix! Good memories though. I’m looking forward to Day 3, a Disney gift everyday, I’m smilin’ about that!

I remember the first year I went at Christmas and went into the Grand to see this house. I remember stepping in the doors from the monorail and just being blown away by the smell of the gingerbread. It is so amazing to stand there and just pick out all the little details that really bring it to life!

That was a great video Rick.
The Grand Floridian brought back memories from 2009. I like walking from the monorail station and seeing that magnificant lobby. Did you know that the Grand Floridian has a Grand Staircase? It’s by the cage elevator. That gingerbread house and carousel is really cool. But I wonder what they do to the gingerbread went they take it down in January. See you tomorrow. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I would really like to see these. It is really hard to imagine how big they must really be. Does it smell good too?
Thanks for another great video!

Hey Rick! Merry Christmas!! I have been watching your blogs for a long time now and really enjoy them. I do have one suggestion. I have noticed in several of your host segments it is hard to understand you because of background noise. Sometimes your voice will be muffled or too low. My suggestion is maybe you could get a microphone and use it during your host segments before and after your ride videos and for your interviews with other people. It doesn’t have to be an expensive one, just good enough so your viewers can understand you better. I love your website and your blogs! Keep up the great work! Have a great Holiday season! David

Yum.
I have one question. What happens to the Gingerbread House and the Carousel after Christmas? Does someone actually get to eat them?
