Hands down…..the pool at the Yacht and Beach Club is my favorite! The sand bottom has got to be the best. I also like the different areas it has to offer. Although, the Wilderness Lodge is one of my top favorite hotels!

  2. Hey Rick, more of these please it’s fantastic to see around the resorts, much better than looking on the web or in a magazine.

Fave pool.. It’s got to be the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon!

Our favorite pool was at the end of silver creek at the wilderness lodge. Thanks for another great show it brings back memories of the first time I took the family to Disney World for their first time. Thanks again.

I have a feeling many people may vote for Stormalong Bay. So with that pool aside, I have to say I love the Dig Site pool at Coronado Springs Resort! I just love that Mayan pyramid with the water cascading down and the Jaguar Slide. Just a really beautiful pool area.

Ironic, John’s favorite bar just happens to be on-location this week. I am sure there was no “drinking on purple van duty.” 🙂 Enjoy the weekly videos Rick and look forward to seeing John on Tuesday night the first week in March.

Favorite pool – my family voted Typhoon Lagoon

Great show Rick! You should do more “resort tour” videos. I enjoy seeing all the differant resorts. My wife and I try to visit a differant resort every trip. Sorry…don’t have a favorite pool. We rarely swim and if and when we do, we just jump in any pool at the resort we are staying at at the time. Scºoºtt

Now That is a log cabin!
I really enjoyed the tour, even the drive to the lodge. I got that Disney Vacation feeling right away.
I count on these weekly visits to keep me in that “happy place” mood. Keep them coming.
I haven’t actually been in many of the pools, but I love the theming at CBRs Pirate pool, although I still have not seen it refurbished. I have GOT to get back there soon. That Wilderness Lodge pool is quite beautiful too.
Keep the videos coming. I love them. 🙂

    Hi Rick,
I love the Wilderness Lodge but when we stayed there I felt like I hadn’t left central PA so now we just visit the lodge when we are there. I love to sit in the lobby and watch first timers faces as they enter the lobby. Next time we visit I’m going up to the second floor.

I don’t have a favorite pool because I usually do not go swimming but once in Dec. I had to try the quiet pool outside my room door at CS and it was so nice and no one else used the pool so I had a private pool!

    Have a happy week!

Great video this week!! The Wilderness Lodge is absolutely beautiful. You should do more videos of different resorts, as it gives us a chance to see them and enjoy their beauty.

The Wilderness Lodge reminds me of the lodge I stayed in as a teenager visiting Glacier National Park.

Hey Rick, That was a great video. I will definitely put the Wilderness Lodge on my list of places that I want to stay at when I am at WDW. My favorite pool? I don’t think there isn’t a pool at WDW that I wouldn’t like. My favorite is the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon. I also really liked the small pool next to my room at Port Orlean Riverside Resort. After a long day at the parks it was so refreshing to relax in the pool before going to bed or in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep.

Thanks again Rick. I look forward to your videos every week.

My favorite pool???..hmmm…I guess it would have to be any of the pools at the All Star Resorts…love how they are shaped in a way that is related to the them of the resort 🙂 (which I guess is they are all but the All Stars have fun shapes) 🙂

Great job Rick and John! I just love the resort tours, very cool. I so want to be WDW right now, but my time will come soon! My favorite pool so far is the volcano pool at the Poly., but I would love to check out the awesome pool at the yacht and beach club one day! Y’all stay safe and take care, and always remember to smile!

This was so great, WL is our favorite! I was so excited to see those topiary geese again…and your tour walked right past our room from our last trip! Glad to see you took the time to rub the nose on that bear! 🙂

Thanks John and Rick for the tour of Wilderness Lodge. It looks beautiful! I haven’t had the opportunity to visit it yet, but that is definitely on my “to do/see” list.
I would have to say that my favorite pool is the Hippy Dippy Pool at Pop Century. Love those flowers that spray water!!

Great video! I really enjoyed it…for as many times as we’ve stayed at the VWL/WL we’ve never been to the Territory Lounge! I’ll have to change that in May.

To answer the question – We love Stormalong Bay the best, but a close second is the WL pool.

I loved it Rick! Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorite resorts. Although I do agree with John and my favorite pool is at French Quarter – formally, Port Orleans. Not only is the pool incredible, but the location of the hot tub is so secluded and romantic.

Keep up the awesome job – would love to visit more resorts with John and the purple van!
Can’t wait till Friday….it is the highlight of my week.

Thanks again Rick. I also especially love your Resort reports. You (and John as well) are so good at finding those “nooks & crannies” I love.

Living in Palm Springs, I especially love the Wilderness Lodge, it has such an opposite atmosphere from the Desert surroundings I live in.
The wife and I are so excited to make our first stay there this coming July.

My favorite pool – Jambo House’s Uzima pool at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
I just love the whole atmosphere and mood.

It was alot of fun to have a personal tour with two great Disney guys! Thank you for showing the Wilderness Lodge. It is a beautiful place and the location is pretty good too with the boat over to MK. I haven’t seen too many of the resort pools but we LOVED the Poly volcano pool!
Thanks for another great video and I hope I win the Passporter; I need a new one!

Great video I love having the chance to see a resort that I have not seen before. I may have to book to stay at that one soon. I really don’t have enough pool experience to have a favorite, we have only stayed at 2 resorts so maybe after a few more trips I will haven enough experience to compare.

    Hi Rick,

I love your video. I am desperate to gain employment with W.D.W. as either a Recreation Coordinator or a Recreation Manager of a resort. Can you help me with any names or ways to get in?

    Thanks,
